Haunting curse should be changed back

The Double cast was sold as a QOL improvement that would make play less dull. Oooooooooookay. But now in pvp, sorcs get two of their most powerful,attacks on a single target regardless how well their opponent hides.

This has totally screwed up nightblade play, amongst other things. If a sorc targets me and gets a curse on me, fine...I deserve that damage. But a second hit fifteen seconds later when I'm 300 yards away is effing ludicrous. Forcing a Templar to choose between a long jab session or blocking the stupid second curse is effing ludicrous. Making a DK laugh off a second tickle...ok, it probably doesn't hurt them, but the ability is still effing ludicrous.

Sorcs are currently tankier than DKs with nightblade dps and templars heals and shields. It's utterly stupid.

Should they nerf them? Zos has shown that they won't listen, so I propose a second option. Sorcs are universally open season. If you see a sorc, they die. It doesn't matter if the attack is worse. It doesn't matter if you lose your keep because you're chasing one down. If a sorc is on your team, effing abandon them at the worst possible moment. Let's declare war on Sorcs, make them the most painful class to play, then see how Zos likes it when we create an outright sorc rebellion.

LMFAO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? 2 sets of patch notes and not one nerf to sorcs. Every other class had major changes to it. But guess what not one nerf to sorcs.

yes through alliance skill line you can get purge but costs a ton of magicka or you can just heal through it with rally etc.

Curse definitely has to be reverted to its original form.

It doesn't make sense! ZOS explanation on it is the worst thing ever. You wanted to make it more friendly for casual players? -OK lets assume looks like a good reason...but wait!! what about causal players that are not sorcs? Did they all became experts and now they can perfectly block curse on the 3rd second and on the 10nd second of it?...are all players robots and only sorcs humans?

Before making anything friendlier please think how it affects the players that has to face that friendly skill.

My main is a sorc (pve) and i agree with this. Shows how out of touch with their own game ZOS are.

But Wrobel mains a mag sorc, so expect some more buffs incoming.

Once upon a time there was a thing call cloak which made nightblade remove negative dots and also prevent dmg done to him. Of course fairy tales are for children and we must stick to reality.

LTH? 15 seconds later and haven't tried to heal at all during that time? And if you're 300 yards away, why the hell do you even care?

You leave any other DoT on yourself while you run and hide, and you'll continue to take damage from that too.

Haunting Curse may be what shows on the death recap, but that's not what's killing you.

doesnt ppl sloting for example entropy instead of mage light for empower while have acces to surge etc? doest mage light givind spell crit bonus to all mag builds and additional empower after activate? doestn it remove nb from cloak on melee range which is comparing like preveting sorc to use any of shields?

why then evil hunter also dont have option with empower and 1 morph to to work as radiant mage light to counter from stealth attack? why only mag builds have access to this skill which is giving bonuses mostly to only magic build, only empower is usable for stam build and nobody is running with evil hunter on pvp because its not worth like mage light have many bonuses especially for just mag builds

Even with the very high cost I slot purge on my mnb. It helps but only it you have LOS. You cast purge and sorc just curses you again before you can stealth back up. With a 3k cost for curse and 4.7k for efficient purge you can guess who wins that fight. You can still manage to weasel your way out but only if your not planning on fighting.

I wish my nightblade had an undodgeable unblockable move with a 10k tooltip that explodes twice. But then again I gank so many Magic Sorc off their mounts now it's not even funny.

Reduce haunting curse's damage by 30% (similar to what they did with rearming trap); make the other morph the original Vicious Curse. An easy, but fair change.

@Edziu Nah, FG passives are already strong introducing an empower universally(even stam builds use inner light for it). If they added that sort of thing to stam, it would get obnoxious; more max stam onto these builds would not be needed. And don't you know? Zos loves magicka since the game came out; DBrotherhood was our most OP patch. Yet another counter to cloak; yep. It's the way it goes dude.
