Feedback on new cp system

I tested out the new cp system and overall I think its better, taking into account the "apparent" flat across the board reduction of about 12-16% of everything.

the new scaling is pretty good and the sweet spot seems to be around 50-60 points which opens up many more points for other things.

Warrior

some clarification is needed though. What is "direct damage" is it anything magical that is not a dot or does it include physical and magical non dots.

if it includes both the if you think about it, the nerf wont be bad at all if you put 60 points in hardy and elemental defender, and 40-50 points in the new ironclad and the dot reduction one.

so rather than having a flat 25% reduction now you will likely have a flat 10-12% reduction and an additional 10-12% in the dd and dot reduction lines, which also leave points for reducing heavy and light attack dmg, quick recovery and a few other things. .

so overall in the red tree I don't see a large change into the negative. Maybe 3-5% which isn't so bad for the red tree. It would of been nice to see a star for increasing the duration of taunts.

Mage

I actually preferred the way the mage tree was set up because it lets you do a bit of everything. I don't know about the losses here because of variables like penetration and crit damage, which youll have a lot more points to distribute to. I imagine it will be a ballpark 5% overall loss of dps though I don't play dps so my characters were always more evenly distributed. It would of been nice to see a star that reduced the charge time of heavy attacks slightly.

Thief

I guess this was the biggest change due to the magician and warlord, but for my tank it is actually kind of an improvement as now I can put less points into blocking reduction and place them in regen. I never used more than a couple points magician or warlord on my tank anyway so it didn't really affect it. Will affect my healer though who did use the reductions and regen, and that's pretty much it.

I feel this constellation should have a star that increases the duration of buffs and another one for debuffs. This will compensate slightly for the realistic loss of 16% spell cost and 12% regen. I imagine the warlord and magician, the way they are set up will be useful in upcoming content, certainly for pvp, but also pve as well so I guess they are ok.

overall I don't see any major issues with the new setup. It's and overall reduction in my opinion of 5% both offensive and defensive capabilities and a 20% reduction in resources.
