Why did MM fall out of favour? Actual sales history is more reliable then listed prices.

MM only provides you the database of sales history based on the traders guild that you belong in. TTC gives you more global view on what is currently selling at this point.
I actually prefer TTC over MM... especially when I'm in the market of purchasing an item.
Yes housing was an gigantic gold sink. No, mainly because it seems all platforms are experiencing deflation.
So while I believe it could possibly play a small role, it is not the reason deflation is happening .
1 word is the reason for the deflation. Housing. Alot of gold was pulled out of the market and just disappeared when housing dropped. I imagine prices will bottom out and then slowly rise as more gold is generated.

it is causing downgrade in sales and has always caused fights and problems in zone chat.
i hope they get rid of these types of programs.
i hate them!

[Temper Alloy] MM suggested price 2,487,312, sales [18]
that is the typical note people see in zone chat, it can not only be changed to show the price YOU want others to think it is sold for but also used as a type of Proof and evidence that the price YOU want is given as a Standard of the current market.
it is used as a trolling method and also abuse of others trying to sell items at a price that you dont like.
when allowed to be used in zone chat it makes it a weapon and a problem for people who are not in trade guilds and only have zone chat as a sales method.
If you look at your listed items and relog it'll relist them on the website multiple times. If your the lowest listed itll drive down the ttc suggested price. We've all seen the deflation lately and think this may play a part in it.
Uhhhh ya. Duh. How is this a poll?
Is the sky blue? Yes/No
Is grass green? Yes/No
This poll reflects denial more than the reality.
This is players with large inventories just wanting to liquidate for short term gains.
