What specifically do you want a guide on, mate?
    • PvP builds?
    • How the map / Emp / transit works?
    • Solo, small man or zerg strategies?
    • Group compositions?
    • Siege defense or offense?

There is no one guide that covers everything, so let us know a little more specifically what you are looking for and we can point you in the right direction or answer here.

    I'll take all you got.

But if we had to start somewhere, siege defense and offense and general strategies.

I would also like a quick reference for things like, where to acquire siege and repair hammers ... I vaguely remember going through an in game tutorial. But I forgot to take notes.

Information on the general mechanics of the game mode would also help, like what impact do the resource nodes have on the structures. I pick up somethings from play like its involvement in transit, but I don't know if it does more than that.

Assume I'm starting from zero. I have a few hours in game but not enough to sort it out.

A pity my English does not help much, but the campaigns are relatively simple: conquer castles, resources to make points. There is rather something speaking in quantity of points of each resource and castle, as well as cities, just do not remember where it is. Groups are random, guilds make theirs, some closed to members of these guilds only, and others open, with 'pugs' (new players, 'multi guild' people, or people who are not guilds). Tactic is related to 'moment' (what we will do NOW to win the campaign). Strategy is something bigger (we will win the campaign).

Sieges depend on where you will attack or defend - in both cases, yes, USE SIEGES ALWAYS possible.

Emperors are 'elected' if a faction conquers certain 'keeps'. To depose this Emperor, you need to retake these particular 'keeps'. Today DC, for example, elected an Emperor for the second time.

So, is it, my english not help much, but this is a 'resume'.

I keep telling myself to write one, but I'm super busy with work.

I remember @Crown has something up somewhere. I think @DeanTheCat too.

Crown has alot of info on group style pvp, if you are looking for that. Very informative and also includes info on why you run impen, etc. At least that's what I remember last time I read it.

For map objectives, it's very important to pay attention to the campaign scoreboard. While many players just want to get kills, there are plenty that will look at this time limit to decide their advancement on the map.

For example, typically some players will ride to the enemy resources to flip them to gain extra points. Some will try to take a keep before the time limit resets.

Each campaign is different though. For TF+AZ (short hand for trueflame and Azura), the score will be added roughly every hour or 60 minutes. For Haderus I believe the score timer is 30 minutes. Here is what the scoreboard looks like:
    07RYJEU.jpg

Campaign Duration = the length of the campaign left before a winner is declared.

Next Score Evaluation = the store "tick". This number is the time left for when the server will add up the current objectives owned for each faction. You must have each objective fully under your control in order for it to be counted. It must show as your factions color on the map for it to count.

Campaign Tier Reward: 3 total tiers. Just tells the game how much money to get at the end or yellow gear if you are in a certain top %.You'll also see the the factions and their total score. You'll also see how many objectives they own. This score is tallied based on the following:
Home objectives = 2 points. Keeps, outpists, each scroll, and resources are all 2 points for your "home keeps". Best way I can explain this is by using Daggerfall as an example. Home keeps/outposts are Daggerfall are Rayles, Warden, Glademist, Aleswell, Ash, Dragonclaw, and Bleakers. All resources attached to those listed keeps are also with 2 points since they are "home" objectives. Every faction gets one outpost to call "home".

    Edit:
Forgot to mention all enemy home objectives you take are worth only 1 point. But you'll deny the enemy 2 points so many people like to say you are actually taking an objective worth "3" points. But only 1 points is tallied to your factionscore score. This means resources > any objective on the map due to how easy they are to flip. On paper, taking resources is how you combat a turtle faction and force them to spread out.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks @Minno.

Is there a complete list of campaign names and the associated campaign modes so I know what people are referencing?

I've seen the name of my active campaign for under 50 level, but I don't know what campaign modes these other campaign names are associated with.

In the same window I showed you there should be an icon that shows the full server list. From there you can select your home/quest campaign as well as see the rule set and population bars for each faction. The icon I refer to is next to where it says "Overview" at the top right of the photo I posted.
