I really don't understand the reasoning with people who are saying that all the items offered in Crown Crates should be offered on the Crown Store instead.

What people don't seem to understand is that Zeni only releases a certain amount of items per month. If all these items were offered in the Crown Store it would take months - years before we would see ALL those items.

Crown Crates is just another way for ZOS to get rid of all the cosmetic stuff they currently have.

Yep, I'll be buying my usual 4 crates every week or so, and eventually I'll either get an apex mount and skins, or enough gems to buy what I want. It's been a pretty good deal for me on the storm crates.

I think you meant that it's a way for them to re-use things they've already made, to make more money than they've already gotten ... and also help out newbies who don't have all the older items.

Huh? A mount is a digital product you buy that is not "just a bit of code", but work done by one if not several different designers and animators.

Majority of the things they put out are NOT re-used things. Not sure what game you're playing. But only certain things are re-used and changed up with a different color.

Depends on how you look at it, I guess. The fact remains that there is no physical stock to "get rid of," as you said before. Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding you.

And yes, I know that not everything in the crates were re-used items. The red wolf and black mane lion were exclusives, as were the storm atronach thingies. Most of the stuff in the crates were re-used items, though.

For the Storm crates I only wanted the wizard hats, and I got all 3 for 3000 crowns. I don't really like the "top tier" mounts being offered so far in these crates.

Considering I got paid on the 28th il probs buy a bunch, (if they have some good stuff in them) but I am very skeptical as the last bunch I bought I spent 50 quid and I was lucky to receive the storm wolf mount and some fab hats, but for 50 quid...was it worth it? No SWTOR's crates are worth it for 24.99 because you get loads of items and you can sell them on the gtn for in game cash later, you can make millions.
