just built this rig a few months ago...4790K oc'ed to 4.7 ghz, 16gb ram, 500 gb ssd, gtx 1080...what else would you suggest i get to not get load screens??

ZoS like passing the blame a lot to people rigs, fair enough some issues will be client side, but the main fault lies with them.

Was getting a couple load screens in our group of 8-10 last night with @Micah123 Is that a large group?

Since load screens got really bad (around IC time yeah?), I've only ever had 1 load screen solo (where I now spend 95% of my time). Large groups it would be constant. Small groups could go a few hours with out load screens, but would always happen eventually.

So no, it's not a persons rig, it's some terrible coding on ZoS's end.

Please don't perpetuate the myth that this isn't ZoS's fault, it's like when PvE'ers blame PvP'ers for nerfs, it perfectly shifts the blame away from ZoS so they never have to address the issue.

I have the same issue on PS4 (with ~92 Mbps and ping of 11). I no longer trust forward camps since that's when it seems to happen the most. Then I have to shut the game down and do the whole song and dance where I can't log back in to the same character cuz I get stuck in yet another infinite loading screen, so I have to log in to a different character first. Then I finally get back in on the proper character and he's dead in Wayrest with nowhere to rez. Just fantastic.

I think you need to check and make sure your drivers are up to date and fully compatible with the game. Then you need to check your router and ensure the settings are correct and that it's not blocking game traffic; you may also want to try and restart it when you get a load screen to see if that fixes the issue. You should also shut off any non-essential processes and programs that use a lot of memory. If the issue still persists, then shut off your addons, one by one, and see if that fixes your issue. If you are still having issues, then I recommend you repair your game using the launcher. Now the problem should most likely be fixed by now, but in the very rare instance that it may not be, then you should go ahead and re-install windows as the issue is most assuredly with your computer system.

Well I do not zerg, so your opinion really does not mean nothing to me, and the odd time I do, I do not experience constant load screens.

I wasn't saying that you do, I said - normally long load screens happen to people who are in big groups

does it randomly happen "just cause" - sure, I've had them too

Ive long thought its a mechanic to reduce lag/spread people out. Cant create lag if you are in a loading screen.
