Utility Skill Bar

With the upcoming Battlegrounds coming, it seems to me that utility builds will become more and more valuable . sorcs with their overload bar will especially be able to simply fit more skills- what would people think of a utility bar- where we press say U- and get a bar come up that allows us to hold 3 utility skills- which would be marked from the alliance/support and guild skill lines. we could put thjings like caltops, traps, healing debuffs , etc. It just is difficult to fit everything else onto a bar if u want to compete as say a nightblade- and still contribute as much as other classes. To avoid double ups- perhaps have an adjustment where certain skills cant stack- so maybe only 2 traps can be active per team at a team- requiring real co-ordination.
I think it would be a good thing.

    Nope have 10 skill slots makes you think about which skills you want.

    3 extra and every class could run every skill they want and need.

    Ya sorry. To many issue. Plus personally part of my appeal is that I don't have tone worry about 40 different skills. This system makes you have choices and all that stuff said previously

    NOPE,

    Two Bars, Ten Abilities and Two Ultimates.. that is way more than enough.

    Hell I think that the Sorc's Overload bar should be Greyed out and only the Ulti' should be active and work..

    Nah.

    The limited number of skills make ESO so much fun, not only in the playing, but also in the planning of your skill load for the occasion... I wouldn't want to have more skills even if it wasn't a load of coding time to implement and thus unlikely to happen.

    Creativity solves limitations, so the existence of limitations promoted you to be creative, hence limitations drive creativity. You are both agreeing, might not be the most appropriate analogy but it's chicken and egg, limitations and creativity feed off each other.

    Literally everything has limitations, to claim that inherently drives convergent thought is not true. Yes the most obvious and simplest solution will be most widely applied, but just like in game people are always finding ways to be creative to get that extra 5% damage or combination of utility that no one has experimented with before.

    We need a healthy balance of limitations and accessibility. The setup we have currently with 12 skills slots and only a few global skill lines is pretty good I believe. Same goes for the DW/2H set piece argument, the current setup is a limitation but it is justified by creating an appropriate threshold of creative builds (obviously highly subjective, but I think they've got it right).
