ESO Live 1/27/2017 missing changes?

I do know during the live stream they ( @Wrobel & @ZOS_RichLambert ) said it's not all done the last changes to PTS will take place next week but let's get real here this patch goes live first week of Feb for PC.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there suppose to be changes to DoTs since classes like DK have around 95% of it's abilities (not including ultimates) DoT based. I mean it's irritating in PvP to simply watch it get healed through, shield stacked, and purified/purged. Sure DKs get some buffs but it hasn't remedy the class when it came to sustain and our DoTs. I still wanted Flames of Oblivion to go back to an AoE as many others suggested maybe even increasing the DoT damage when it came in contact with an enemy since we were suppose to (at-least I thought we were) receive buffs to DoTs or changes that made it worth the use.

Lastly what happened to changes with making Health something to invest in instead of maxing out your offensive stat to save you when it comes to healing (Stam/Mag) and shields (Mag). I won't like but major mending vigor is life but do I feel it's balanced... absolutely not nor do I feel it should be the one to save me when someone clearly out plays me and I sit back like "Damn that dude would've smacked me if it weren't for vigor". Now don't get me wrong high health tanks mainly templars are the worst in PvP and I remember seeing a note about "Don't attack HA high health builds" (paraphrasing there); nonetheless I feel it should be addressed or at-least give us a reason why it was left out and when will it be changed.

    I guess so because I'm still waiting on those changes and I definitely want a player based AoE for my stam/mag class. Fortunately we had one before which was Flames of Oblivion.

    That's cool but I prefer the original at-least it's AoE aspect as it functioned a lot better than the current one especially when it came to generating ultimate, finding stealth targets,dealt consistent damage, and dealing damage.

    Converting FoO to it's original is not a good call. Can you imagine MagDK's stacking, Grotherdar, FoO, EotS/Batswarm and Inhale.

    @Taylor_MB I honestly do not see how that's considered OP, if you can't stack damage over time with a proc set then what's injection + selene or veli. Flames of Oblivion AoE consistently damages and I'd think it would be considered a DoT since it does that. I just don't see how it's OP when you literally stack a damaging effect + a proc set or ultimate all the time on live.

    Flames of Oblivion AoE is something not just Mag DKs want but Stam DKs for PvE AoE as we lack one (class wise).

    It is adorable how dks drown with wine taht dragonblood is completely useless but after getting it finally working after 1.5 years they still pretend they got nothing...
    Tho this is going for each class.

    Balancing out the health attribute is very important to balancing out the game since as of now any class can specialize in stamina or magicka and still come out with a meta build, but only templar and nightblade can go all health and come out ok.

    I think the reason why they didn't talk about it as it will be very hard to do as there are almost no ways to implement health in an offensive way and defensively people can still be super tanky without putting any points in health (high heals and shields) so it would be hard to create a tanky balance. Expect this to be on the to-do list with spellcrafting for a long time.

    MagDK got enough buffs this round, there is no need at all for anything else. There is other classes now that need attention first.

    That's good to have that opinion but Mag DK still has not had it's sustain issue addressed at all. Mag DK received only 3 good/useful buffs(IMO). Coag being buffed is definitely a good thing and whip getting that 5% extra damage is good but not needed imo. I won't forget ferocious leap too as that's pretty good too but the rest of the buffs were not needed and wouldn't change anything else. The other changes like increased speed for stone fist, volatile armor doing 20% more DoT damage, Hard armor shield increase and gDB getting minor vitality/minor endurance doesn't do anything to aid the class at all. I didn't mention chains but they're still an issue thanks to the x and y axis and thus will continue to remain off my bar.

    The main thing DKs in general asked for was passive reworks and sustain issues finally being addressed but that hasn't been addressed yet while other classes suddenly got minor magicka steal and reduction in cost for their 'sustain issues'. So give me a break on that point, we were suppose to get DoT changes that did not happen yet and I hoped to get an AoE for my stam DK as it sucks spamming HATK animation canceling my abilities (that aren't class abilities) to get a kill in PvP.

    I don't know what other class needs anything else maybe Magblade but that's all I would assume needs something.

    Yup I watched it and I remember they said something about (paraphrasing) "If a lot of people are talking about one thing we investigate it and address it" yet they only did that with sorcs when they had a 'overwhelming outcry' lol check the DK PTS thread of people complaining about sustain issues, lack of AoE (stam wise), and no passive reworks. There's overwhelming outcries everywhere but sorcerers were the only one to receive what they wanted lmao.

    The main thing magDKs (including me) asked for was changing coagulating blood. Which they finally did. If you haven't tested it yet, it's pretty good even without the missing health % working. Everything else can be worked around with.

    Magblade needs a lot of help to make them viable in PvP and in PvE. Stamplar and Stamblade need a lot of love in regards to PvE. Stamina in general needs some changes to be considered worthwhile in PvE again.
    Before that stuff happens, I don't see a reason why DKs should get any sort of buff. Even as someone who's most played character is a mag/stam DK.
    I'd rather see how the buffs play out now. It's never a good idea to make too many changes all at once.

    Yeah I see that point and my only class I've played since Craglorn came out has been the DK class(I mainly play Stam DK 95% of the time after consoles dropped) so you can probably see why I'm feeling rather impatient after waiting for stuff to happen for so long. Coag blood is good since it's a consistent base value heal that can be increased by missing health or CP/buff (I've tested it too).

    My main thing for this coming patch was wanting better AoE for my Stam DK but also a passive rework/making DoTs worth it as wrobel had said he was gonna do in the AmA. If they wanted to help stamina they should've returned the maelstrom dags buff while improving some DoT skills/bringing a lot of the crafted gear up to par if not better than the current gear (as its suppose to be).
