Chests can be looted too.

I agree exploits need to be fixed as soon as possible (though sadly few game companies seem to care enough to hotfix exploits in near / real time), even if they just affect something like a title or skin (which should be removed from exploiters), but shut the game down for a day because someone might get a title, no.

Also some of the people wondering why they aren't getting full support from other in the forums, maybe check your attitude - calling the trial a 'noobfilter' and making disparaging statements about anyone not running the content, not at full CP, wearing certain gear, etc, doesn't make you look elite, it makes you look like a childish tool.

@ZOS_RichLambert This needs to be fixed immediately and those who have used it banned or at least have the title and achievement removed from their accounts. My guild is very close to our first hard mode kill and a friends guild just got theirs and it's really annoying that after months of effort on this fight the achievement will be questioned because this exploit exists.

This right here are the long term consequences of their poor handling of cheating and exploits that culminated over half a year ago.

If exploiting has no consequences, then nobody will be afraid to exploit, and you will soon find yourself with a community that embraces such behavior.

The longer you let this cheating mentality stew, the bigger the uproar will be once you finally decide to put a stop to it.

ZOS, take your head out of the sand.
Even a short ban will do, as long as it it clearly shows that exploiting will result in a punishment.

You have been given a second chance to demonstrate such mentality will not be tolerated.

Why does it offend you so much to see that a low level CP wearing the vMOL skin and wearing the title? If it offends you that much to the point where your blood pressure starts to become high then I would recommend you go seek psychiatric help since it causes you to have a life crisis just by looking at the player in the game.

When ZOS comes here and tells us that
multiple mundus are ok...
multiple surveys are ok...
target dummy Rakkhat is ok...

then your argument might be half valid.

I heard about this a couple days ago, have NOT exploited the mechanic. But, it's easy to see how it didn't start out as an exploit attempt.

It's a simple fix. Just a couple invisible walls would do it.

It started as an attempt to get off-map. We've seen many of those vids here - just look at the one exploring the houses and manors, it's got a sorc streaking around to get places otherwise inaccessible. Sorcs have that uber-mobility that no other class has.

So someone figured out how to get off map in MoL, and started exploring. Stumbled on those chests, and passed word to a few others. More exploring was done, and stumbled on rakkhat.

A couple invisible walls would end it. Unfortunately, the walls would end the chest farming too, putting us back to the tender mercies of RNGesus. Which, if anyone didn't know, are not tender.

Idk whats wrong with some people on forums. They hate competitive players so passionately, that theyre happy when there's some bug or glitch that ruins leaderboards/allows to get the loot in downscaled trial/etc. I dont even understand the logic behind it.. Those people just play how they want, isnt that what casual players value so much?
But when someone scams them with trade bug or kill repeatedly by spamming ult in pvp, they will be the first to cry on forums.

I don't hate competitive players because I'm one myself. I just hate it when I'm punished by not accepting an exploit to be part of my rotation that will grant me an additional DPS. As a result of me rejecting this so-called "Animation canceling" cheat has cost me my role of being in Core because I'm unable to pass the Core DPS test... which in a lot of raid guilds requires you to be part of the vMOL raid.

Perhabs if other competitive players wouldn't be such an elitest and let other people have the chance to experience vMOL then perhaps desperate people wouldn't go out of their way to cheat to get the skin/title.... or risk being scammed out of millions of gold by paying for their skins/titles.

Wouldn't the exploit be reflected by the leaderboards? If only Rakkhat is killed there won't be a score. You can cross-check players who have the skin/title and aren't on the leaderboards.

They've confirmed that animation cancelling isnt an exploit.
Actually, its present in many games and also isnt considered as an exploit, unless you're using macros.
And most importantly, being able to weave doesnt even guarantee that you can beat any trial.
As for selling titles/skins... I dont support that, and have never participated in such runs. In any case, why anyone would be able to wear the title they havent earned? The skin isnt even that fancy, its just a "I've done vMoL" badge.
Btw, there is a problem with those who bought vMoL skin and are bragging how awesome they are. There's one guy on EU who was one of the first people to buy a skin. He was then acting horribly arrogant and elitist, pretending that he beat vMoL and he's now super awesome (ofc he "forgot" to mention buying the skin).
Its a well-known fact that those "pug elitists" usually arent even good players. If this exploit works, it will give them something extra to brag and back up their claims... Its more of a social issue ofc but there's that.

It was confirmed to be a feature (albeit not initially intended), not an exploit.

The leader board has been reset a few times, I know a few people who have the skin from a long time ago but aren't on the board. Also people who come in as a replacement get the achievement but don't qualify for the boards unless they were there when the trial started, I don't think it would be fair for them to lose it.

How is it an exploit when ZOS has said several times that animation canceling is ok, it was unintended but not something they will remove.

I agree with the guy that said paying for the skin is the same damn thing. It lost all value once people started buying it. As will the title when that gets sold too. Boo woo get over it...

I was told though the exploit is going into the backyard and there's a spot you can streak onto and sit there and snipe (or heavy attack if someone has that pvp shield thing) someone go ahead and test this and confirm for the sake of this thread.

Your DPS must be beyond terrible. Weaving is the number one element that adds skill to this game and separates the good from the bad. It is what makes combat good in this game. They have said many times that it is not going anywhere, and have certainly balanced content and designed skills with it in mind (merciless resolve for example). If people could not weave, there would be no clears at all of VMOL in its current state.

You are either a really bad troll or got hit in the head one too many times. Go somewhere else with your nonsense, this is not the thread for it.

Wait so I'm exploiting when I don't wait for my full Mericless animation to be completed before I swap bars?? HAHA these people can't be serious. I agree, it's something that is now natural for me to do as well. I honestly don't understand how people see this as an exploit. Macros? Yes. Animation cancelling? No.

Also, some people have a reason to have pc game as a hobby and enjoy improving themself everyday. I used to have a healthy life with workout and music as hobby until I got affected with a virus in my body that make my immune system not working properly, and my energy level each day are limited. I do have good friends and a good life, and my work as an ROV supervisor are currently on hold due to this, but thanks for understanding my situation and telling me I haven't made it in life

That's right...it's just a game, you haven't made it in life by getting Dro martha destroyer, No one is going to sit around you watching weapon / skill swaps in a blink and go whooooo Bruh you got sum mad skills... Nope......it's a game...sitting there pressing buttons all day long just memorizing when to do what (or macro it) isn't skill.

Also, some people have a reason to have pc game as a hobby and enjoy improving themself everyday. I used to have a healthy life with workout and music as hobby until I got affected with a virus in my body that make my immune system not working properly, and my energy level each day are limited. I do have good friends and a good life, and my work as an ROV supervisor are currently on hold due to this, but thanks for understanding my situation and telling me I haven't made it in life

Besides... If there's no skill involved in this game, why not everyone has legit "dromathra destroyers" at this point? It must be easy and its possible to achive enough dps even without weaving.

The leader board has been reset a few times, I know a few people who have the skin from a long time ago but aren't on the board. Also people who come in as a replacement get the achievement but don't qualify for the boards unless they were there when the trial started, I don't think it would be fair for them to lose it.
