Why is mageblade to suffer for stamblade's opness?
It doesn't work perfectly fine because that's not how it should work.If that's how transmutation and grossamer are working then they also need to be fixed.Where am I to read that ESO defines yourself as a friendly target that's just plain idiotic for you to think its working as intended @Paraflex .You are the caster not a friendly target its like saying viper should proc when you take melee damage.Their way this is now its not working as intended. That makes no sense you realized that right you can't be friendly to yourself. That's broken it stats when you heal a friendly target which means a group mate or a nearby ally of your alliance. As it is right now its broken and shouldn't work like that.beanofsize wrote: »@ZOS_GinaBruno can you guys look into troll king its proccing on the caster with no ally present.
@Jaronking this is working as intended. The set applies to friendly targets. The caster is a friendly target.
Actually it worst perfectly fine this is how gossamer and transmutation works in the game it's how ESO defines a friendly target learn to read @Jaronking

@ZOS_GinaBruno can you please confirm this is how set such as this should work.If that's the cast each of these sets no to be reworded or fixed so 1 person can not heal themselves and get theses bonus it makes no sense.
It's not a L2P issue its freaken broken and should be fixed.Friendly target Is a ally your not a ally your yourself. So a set that activate on a friendly target should only proc when their a friendly target near you.Its not hard to understand and the fact it works like this is clearly a bug ZOs hasn't noticed or no one brought up.It doesn't work perfectly fine because that's not how it should work.If that's how transmutation and grossamer are working then they also need to be fixed.Where am I to read that ESO defines yourself as a friendly target that's just plain idiotic for you to think its working as intended @Paraflex .You are the caster not a friendly target its like saying viper should proc when you take melee damage.Their way this is working as intended.

Serious l2p issue here. This is how these sets have always worked. Friendly targets include yourself, that's ESO basics.

There is one change I would like to see for pvp specifically. I think there should be less crit damage in pvp. Right now it is a must to run impen on all your armor or you get melted. If crit damage was reduced it would remove the absolute requirement to run so much crit and add diversity of traits in pvp. I would love to run other traits like reinforced, divines, heck even well-fitted. Though I must admit i have not tested all the crit changes i have heard on the pts server yet.

The only things that made it not complete garbage were its cheap cost and cool visual, and its purpose seemed to be an entry-level spammable for those who could not yet manage their magicka. Now it is worthless for magblade DPS, unless they are playing solo. Not that magblade deeps exist anymore. It will take more than a buff to path to fix that.

The very fact that end-game players would be using a set purposefully put into the game to help new players is abusive. And spare me the "well, you have to get in with the trainee trait so it's balanced" lie. I got my sharpened sword, sturdy curaiss, and jewelry and so do you.

We figured this would be preferred so those who only want to see the changes can easily read them, but if you're interested in the reasoning, you can click to learn more. Not married to this formatting, though, and can consider doing it without the spoiler tags.

[*]Draconic Power
- Dragon Leap:
- The damage and knockback from this ability and its morphs can no longer be dodged.
- Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were not granting the caster crowd control, snare, and immobilization immunity while they were mid-flight.
- Ferocious Leap (Dragon Leap morph): Fixed an issue where this morph’s damage was being mitigated off the target’s Physical Resistance instead of their Spell Resistance.
Developer CommentsAs part of a consistency pass to define abilities as dodgable or undodgable, Dragon Leap has been made undodgable. Area of Effect attacks should not be dodgable since they blanket an entire area with harmful effects, and should still damage enemies trying to Roll Dodge through it. You can still use Roll Dodge’s movement speed increase to avoid the Area of Effect altogether as counterplay against this ability. We’ll continue to monitor and update other Area of Effect abilities to ensure they conform to this standard. This ability is still useless. Cant be used while rooted and does almost no damage.
[*]Dawn’s Wrath
- Backlash:
- Increased the amount of copied damage by this ability and its morphs to 20% from 18%.
- The initial damage done by this ability and its morphs now contributes to the copied damage.
- The copied damage is no longer reduced by Battle Spirit. Note that the final damage done at the end of the duration is still reduced by Battle Spirit.
- Fixed an issue where damage that was absorbed by a damage shield was not being copied.
Developer CommentsWe want to see Backlash as a burst damage ability that you can use in solo PvE or PvP content. To accomplish this, we not only increased the amount of copied damage, but also doubled it in Cyrodiil. This increase in Cyrodiil was to account for both Battle Spirit and the playstyles of enemies; enemy players are much harder to hit with 5 seconds of unhindered attacks. This change should open up a lot of exciting possibilities for Templars in PvP and we’d love to hear your feedback on it.

Evasion: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Medium Armor.

Exactly, I'd love to see these OP builds they keep claiming exist.

Reduced the duration of Major Vitality from potions. The base duration is now 12.5 seconds, down from 47.5 seconds.
WTF is that!
I actually like that change. These were pretty OP. This brings them inline with other powerful potion buffs like Immovable, etc. Still great situationaly, but not something you can have 24/7.

Really? You agree how the mDk in light has no viable mobility, the most expensive class ulti, still no class effective heal (instant) and i can add more and more to the list if i haven't done so already.
I doubt you extensively played a mDK for end game PvE competitively or long enough in Cyrodiil to see what they lack a lot compared to other classes.
