    "This also helps promote a berserker-type playstyle with Heavy Armor where you get more powerful the longer you stay in combat." Yea um wish there was a berserker set in which the more u get hit the more damage u do. Oh like the fury set that no one uses cause it goes off only by crit. The fury set should be any damage and reduce the stacking by 20 instead of 25. If u want a beserker type playstyle for players make a set scale with wrath and fit in with it. And black rose is still going to be meta unless u do something to other heavy armor sets that are pretty lower than 7th legion and ravager.

    Saying stuff like 'the counter to heavy armor is to not hit them' is what makes people question if the dev's play the game.

    New pvp gameplay mechanic... avoid fighting players in heavy armor. Who doesn't wear heavy in PvP? I don't but I'm specializing in the "AP Pez Dispenser Set" It's a good set for Bow/2h Bosmer Nightblade:
    2 items: dispense AP in 2.5 seconds
    3 items: dispense AP in 2.6 seconds
    4 items: dispense AP in 2.7 seconds
    5 item set bonus: If a Bosmer, your stealth passive is negated by every other player's whatever and you will dispense AP upon entering Cyrodiil.
    Rule #1: RL trumps gaming.
    Rule #2: True immersion is RL.
    Rule #3: RL lag is wonderful.
    Rule #4: People matter. Pixels do not.

    Your complaining your 'tank' can no longer do dps/ heal and tank all at once?

    Pick one of them and stop complaining when you can't do others.

    1. Tremor? Use something like bloodspawn so you can throw warhorns around to increase dps.
    2. 5% it's still a usable ult for pugging easy dungeons.
    3. Noobs shouldn't be going into dungeons that are out of their league currently.

    Honestly how are you actually complaining your tank can no longer fulfil all roles.

    No, you don't understand, it was to compensate. I am not a damage dealer, I am not a healer, and I can tank. The problem is if one of these is lacking I had the potential to fill in a piece of the missing portions of the group or to do some clutch things to save the group. This is exactly what a utility tank should be able to do in normal dungeons.

    And, again, I also stated that it is easier for me to tank as my dps sorcerer when helping new people. So, yes, my dps can actually fullfill two roles while dps'ing and not just compensate a bit to tanking, but actually tank it.

    The whole "Noobs shouldn't be doing x" is what is making it harder for me to enjoy helping people with new mechanics like "ii" dungeons simply because there's too little dps or too little/too starved heals. They're not going into vet dungeons, they're not doing anything the game hasn't opened up to them, and all they want and likely need is just a little help and a little experience.

    Really loving the developers comments brings more clarity to the change. I wondered is it possible to perhaps add in a section at the top of skills (simular to known bugs) a list of skills you are currently investigating due to being broken?

    They don't have to say when or how they will be fixed just the fact you are aware and looking into it, I'm sure we all understand some skills take longer then others to fix. This would further provide clarity to the community and reduce some of the repeat notes about skills broken and not yet fixed.

    The developer's comments are awesome! Great to hear your thoughts.

    I'm dissapointed I will never try the trainnee/twice born star build I've been planning for three months, but most of these balance changes have been called for on the forums - so overall I'm impressed.

    It would be good to see some weapon trait changes though.
    #1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

    This changes really help to tune down the cheese a little bit. Malubeth, Vitality pots, Heavy armor, Black rose, Tremorscale. Hm... Hm... Keep it up :). We want skill to prevail in PvP, not the amount of healing you have in store. Like the direction this patch is taking.

    That makes no sense you realized that right you can't be friendly to yourself.That's broken it stats when you heal a friendly target which means a group mate or a nearby ally of your alliance.As it is right now its broken and shouldn't work like that.

    Me too. As of 9 pm Est. tonight, I can actually craft my own TBS but, based on what I'm reading on here, why should I? Heck! Guess 2017 will be a year of the 10 place table setting for me.

    I would absolutely love to hear the reasoning behind the change, and specifically what you are attempting to accomplish. In other words, exactly what is it that you want this skill to achieve in combat, and what has your "evaluation" uncovered?

    I know I am never going to agree with the devs on every balance change, and I love that we are getting a glimpse of the reasoning behind what you do. I think this really will go a long way in the future. For this specific skill, I am still completely baffled.

    Edit: I do not expect to heal like a templar, but there is a problem when I can beat a templar to within an inch of his life, and he presses one button and goes on about his day. My health bar barely moves when I cast CDB. I have legitimately considered running vigor as a magic toon, which is just insane. Too me, the new version is the exact same broken gimmick, just applied to a less relevant stat pool.

    It's okay to admit you made a mistake and go back to the drawing board. :smile:

    Already way better than the first patch notes.
    I like the heavy armor nerf and also appretiate the set changes a lot.

    These changes will make cyrodiil already a little bit better, thanks for listening finally to the community.

    I stil hope you have some more changes upcoming for 2.7.3 :-)

    Good to see heavy armor balanced in the right direction as it was very obviously over performing in pvp. However I would have liked to see light and medium buffed to make them more useful and competitive vs heavy armor. I don't want to see heavy armor nerfed down to where it was a few patches ago and become useless. Overall good changes for it though.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno, can you tell us if there are any changes planned for Ebonhart Chateau? Really disappointed not to see any mention of it in these notes - imo it is far and away the worst of all the manors and detailed ad nausem in the housing thread.

    Very disappointed in the changes to Armor of the Trainee. I'm not sure that anyone ever complained about it being OP. I've used this set since the launch of OT as part of my unique build on my light armor magplar. This is a huge nerf that is largely uncalled for.

    Armor of the Trainee usually had to be complemented by a sustain set, leaving no room for fancy proc and special effect sets. The weapons coming in different traits than training were useless, as your stats drop whenever switching the 5th piece set on your weapon bar.
    Trainee enabled players to craft a very balanced build that sought strenght in its class abilities rather than maximizing the cheese out of developers mistakes and oversights.

    Could you ask the team to reconsider the changes @ZOS_GinaBruno - or change the 2-4 piece bonus to e.g. stamina, magicka and health regen and leave the 5th piece bonus untouched instead of nerfing the set into oblivion for endgame players? I believe the majority of things are not used as you intended them to be.

    Thank you very much for your detailed comments on the patch notes. This is a huge improvement!

    I don't really understand the berserker concept behind the wrath passive it makes little sense with the whole line of heavy passives. Berserkers didn't even use plated armor from what I am aware of, the whole concept sound like it should be in the medium armor line. I would prefer wrath removed and replaced something that gave a static reduction in damage. The other thing too with wrath the stack changes are kind of meanness; in pvp there are caltrops everywhere and other persistent effects that trigger it. Someone in the office really needs to put the berserk manga down.

    You have a point. I think wrath should only proc on direct hit (both non dot and chanelled dot), not on "passives" dot like caltrops, thunder form, embers… It should tone down the effectiveness of wrath passive by a large amount, and won't force us to stop hitting for 5 second after all our dot are out (bringing the delay to 10-15 seconds most of the time).

    I actually like that change. These were pretty OP. This brings them inline with other powerful potion buffs like Immovable, etc. Still great situationaly, but not something you can have 24/7.

    Nice to see mnb getting a little bit of love. Still needs a lot more though if they want it off the endangered list. But I'm glad they're at least trying, that's something.

    Balance changes actually look really, REALLY good.

    No matter what anone thinks of the changes themselves, can we all take a minute to admire that ZOS is showing dev feedback on why they made specific choices? AWESOME addition, imho.

    Being on xbone, I don't have access to PTS but I think the HA changes are going to make life miserable for tanks (PVE that is... I don't PVP.) I always took great pride in resource management and not needing shards but they're going to be the only thing any tank is going to use now that our heavy weave is all but useless.

    In addition to the lack of regen while blocking, why not just take tanks out of the game altogether... :(

    With the Traine nerf you guys just killed my 2 hybrid builds Sorco and Templar :( , the 5 bonus stats shud be around 1800~2000
    All other changes i find them good
