Low levels should not be allowed to partcipate in random dungeons.

    Game needs overhauled.

All threads like this do is highlight the issue, the 'progression' is a sheer drop off a cliff and this games balance and design isn't good enough in it's current state.

    Needs overhauled.

I rather group with low levels than 501+

A 100% this. I love helping out people and just have fun in dungeons, even if it means it might take an hour or two. Letting them experience the wonderful awesome job that the ZoS did with the dungeons. Speed runs are not my thing. Everyone is so impatient nowadays.

"Progression" has nothing to do with it.

An experienced player can buy a new account and enter a dungeon with a level 10 character that will be adequately prepared for any role in any normal dungeon.

The problem here is that there is a lack of tutorials for new players, and the overland mobs are so easy, therefore their knowledge of basic mechanics is never put to a test.

I don't see an issue with pairing with low levels. Never had an issue.

    1. Considering the speed at which xp is gained in dungeons I'm not that affected by it.
    2. The vote kick function is always there. If you feel the low level is a detriment to your success then vote for a kick.

There were 2-3 top level serious end-game guilds recruiting in Malabal Tor just last night. I'm sure there must be more out there. I've seen a couple recruiting here in the forum in the last week.
How much more time does it take to use the forum search feature to find such a guild?

    Rule #1: RL trumps gaming.
Rule #2: True immersion is RL.
Rule #3: RL lag is wonderful.
Rule #4: People matter. Pixels do not.

TBH, I prefer to group with low levels. It means there's going to be some social interaction, I actually get to talk to them. It means the dungeon/boss mechanics are actually going to matter, rather than just facerolling every fight with excessive DPS as a bunch of 501CPers get through the apparent tedium of actually having to play the game.

If you want to get it over so quickly, why are you even bothering to play?

    ^^^!
To me, having >CP200 players in the group is usually a sign that the run is going to suck. Not because the group will fail, but because the high lvl guys will speed through as if they had not a second to loose, while some lowlvls inevitably get left behind trying to read the quest or whatever.

As healer in these groups I often consider standing aside and playing /flute or smt, it's that boring. :'D

CP has nothing to do with it. I have over 600 CP and have done pretty much no dungeons. It would be super dumb to judge based on CP alone. I would love to run more dungeons, but I know I have no idea what I am doing, and really do not want to hold people back that DO know what they are doing. More often than not my kids are home and I can't dedicate the time I need to practicing and getting better at them. Or I am working. Being in Alaska, by the time I can log in, most people are done for the day. I dunno, maybe I am overthinking it, but I would hate it if I tried and people were horrid about it, assuming my CP level meant I had run 50 kabillion dungeons.

I've done more DPS with a level 10 alt with training gear than CP300+ has done in vet dungeons (max CP but still). Level does not have to mean anything, a bad player is still a bad player regardless of CP/level.

Then we'd have no "get gud", "entitled" and "cancer" spewers to laugh at. :( Like you said, they have little or no self awareness so they provide hilarity free of charge.

It's not, though, it's a necro thread from last July.
