Alliance War Horse has no options for upgrade display
That's entirely different. You can already buy a regular black, gray, beige horse seperate from this Alliance War horse.
You mean it doesn't count because there are other horses?
Its also called an elk in some countriesElderscrollian wrote: »lol a that is not an elk, that is a deer!!! this is an elk

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns with us regarding the Great Elk mount. We do take your feedback into consideration for future Crown Store content releases. Because of its geometry and the fact that it already has adornment by default, this particular mount does not have an upgraded look for maxed out riding skills as some of our other mounts do. Some of our mounts will have this upgraded look, and some will not. In the future, we will do better at letting everyone know ahead of time which do and which don’t.
Crown Crates already proved that no, you don't take our feedback into consideration.
You still pay for those crowns by subscribing, they're not free lolanitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »4500 crowns are not equal to 30$ for everyone. It even equals to zero for those who use sub crowns.

I wouldn't sub if it wasn't for the crafting bag, I didn't sub prior to the crafting bag, and I would sub for the crafting bag even with no crowns in the package. In my case crowns are "free".
I think the mount looks great. The sounds are good. Like the animations, especially the jumping. The lack of upgrades doesn't bother me because every mount doesn't need one. The price though is way too high.

Greed I 100% agree with. The greed of ZOS lately makes me fearful of where they will go next. Also 4500 crowns... nothing says happy holidays like a incredibly overpriced offering. Laziness... not so much. They needed to be clear that this mount wasn't affected by riding levels. That really doesn't bother me as I don't think every mount must have this.andreasranasen wrote: »Thank you all for keeping this thread fresh and showing your disappointment with ZOS pure greed and laziness.

Many subscribed before crafting bags and wouldn't have if not for the crowns. You don't see value in crowns, but others obviously do. They still aren't free as if you didn't pay for the subscription, you wouldn't have crowns. If they were of no value, they wouldn't offer a way to exchange currency for the digital currency. Value is subjective, however since the only way to obtain crowns is by spending money, they are not free or $0.00.

Yes value is subjective. Which is why I wrote *in my case*.
In context, I was replying to someone who automatically translated 4500 crowns into 30$. Depending on how you got the crowns, they can cost much less.
People are free to consider the elk too expensive or not (for me it IS too expensive), but I simply don't like figures being twisted and bent to suit any particular side of the argument.

As someone else pointed out the price for subbing didn't change with the addition of crowns so whether you agree or not the subscribers crowns are free crowns.
Okay I can see that argument, like if you bought the crowns on sale this mount would be much less as well.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »You still pay for those crowns by subscribing, they're not free lolanitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »4500 crowns are not equal to 30$ for everyone. We obviously call that animal different thingsIn Sweden were I live, elk is the national animal and it sure not look like that, we would call that a deer. This is an elk here:

Regarding the elk, I think what we should care about is :
- what are these animals and how are they called in Tamriel in the 2nd era
- what is Santa Klaus using.
It is a mount related to a holiday event related to Christmas, in the Elder Scrolls lore.
