There isn't enough balance, but sometimes it is a learn to play issue.
We need an auction house and a way to store stuff in our upcoming houses, two-handed weapons could mysteriously become two items for the purpose of gear sets.

The difference is, the kids don't pay their parents bills, we on the other half do pay ZOS's and their Investor's bills.
Apples and Oranges, we are customers, not children. A good business listens to their customers, a bad one doesn't. A good business retains their customers for the long haul, a bad one tries to lure new ones in with gimmicks because they screwed over the old ones and can't milk them anymore.
They will listen, if enough people stop paying, oh and how they will. But as it stands, too many people are happy for ZoS to take notice and money keeps rolling in.
Ah screw it, who am I trying to fool, i've been a active subscriber since release and am contributing to the cash-cow problem, but I still have a glimmer of hope that this game will one day reach it's true potential, i hope so anyway.Edited by Egonieser on December 14, 2016 10:25AMSometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Actually it's the investors' who pay ZOS' bills. We pay their investors' dividends.
Active players in an MMO are an asset to ensure investors' involvement.
Players who threaten to ragequit are not a good asset from an investors' point of view.
The more players threaten to quit, the more ZOS will be forced by their investors to implement cash cow strategies rather than long term creative game designs.
