PVP AP Farming Solution

For those who don't know the cool new thing to do in Cyrodiil is to knock down a wall or door and then never take the keep. Basically just sit in the courtyard and farm AP now that they can't sit 50 deep in a resource tower. I suggest that once a keep is flagged no players from the attacking faction should be eligible to receive AP again until they either leave the area or the keep is taken. Just sitting around spamming emotes waiting to 75 on 1 people is weak.

I like when they take the Scroll into a church now so they can still farm AP behind it with a load screen. I guess the next step is to remove doors from towns?

I will give these guys points for creativity but it's amazing the lengths people will go to in PVP to get a high score without actually PVPing.

Also the next step is bringing the Scrolls into caves. First rule of Cyrodiil: if it can be abused it will be abused.

This has to be one of the worst ideas I have heard. I mean for one thing that is the worst way to farm AP, they were probably just trolling your faction. Unless they were keeping tags up on the breach to keep it flagged, folks would be able to just respawn immediately and then they'd be worth no AP. What you also might have seen is what's called a "successful keep defense", where the faction controlling a keep prevents the one attacking from actually taking it. I had that happen just earlier today, in fact. We were trying to take Drake, I think, but there were so many EP and they were actually pretty good at spreading out, so we couldn't wipe them all at once and the fight just dragged on and on. They eventually simply repaired us in and the keep unflagged. Stuff happens, you know?

I know what I saw. I've seen it multiple times this week. Let me spell it out.

- undefended red keep away from the middle ring
- door knocked down
- ZERO siege inside the keep after knocking down the door many minutes afterward
- a ridiculous amount of blues, easily 100, just hanging out
- when the reds show up in the normal size groups to deal with flagged keeps in the wilderness they get jumped on by insane numbers
- reds cannot port there because it's flagged

My eyes were not playing tricks on me. This is the new cool thing for AP farmers.

How is this even a thing?
• By not taking the objective they are only getting 50% of possible AP
• Killing the same people over and over gives so little AP after not very long it will absolutely not be worth it
• AP farming with 100 people will not get you good AP

All totally accurate. The first time I saw it I died 3 times and then realized what was going on. Only too once yesterday but then again I did lag out due the massive ball of blues.

Me and my buddy @Ron_Burgundy_79 did that once we were in skull on Xbox Ad own the mapso we sieged down Alswell outer wall and just farmed them inside the keep for a good 30 minutes we killed the EMP and his group once and the emp never came back after that lol.His group kept coming to get farm and the other random that were their .

dear zos gods, i humbly beseech thee to make it where you only get ap from a player 1 time per character lifetime and only to the first person to get a killing blow on them. we ask that you remove ap generating from keep wall/door repair as well and from healing players as they kill the enemy faction players. we humbly beseech that all forms of offensive and defensive ap ticks be removed as well.

Church farming was one of my faves. The cyrodiil pop is still dwindling and the last thing needed is to reduce it more. AP farming and holding objectives, playing capture the flag and tag with the scroll is the only fun thing left. With how bad the lag & performance is if ZOS spent their time making more reasons not to play PvP instead of fixing what they have me and many more would be gone.

I love scroll carrier groups regardless of faction. They spread the fight across Cyrodiil unlike mindless zergs.
