The daedra spider puts me in a cocoon I cant seem to either get out of or survive?

CC imunity *might* work but it's a synergy mechanic...so it might not even count as a CC.
Really the only way u *might* be able to get away with a solo is if you dump insane dps into it. it doesn't appear to be a case of agro, or hp%, but a timer. so u might have enough time to destroy it if you had some insane dps.650cp+ Sorcerer 100+ days /played

✭I still think you should try with a pet.
You have them at your disposal as a Sorc.
A Sorc managed to solo vet WGT and vet CoS simply because of pets.
They will get thrown in a cage on the 1st boss in WGT.
They will get pinned down on the 4th boss in CoS.
Give it a try.
And remember to use that same pet tactic on the final boss.5

aside from the obvious necropost of a 9 year old thread lol
9 years ago we didnt have the psijic ult that lets people get out of most of these mechanics (theres very few which will block it)
companions cannot synergize you out of being cocooned, but on normal you can burn the boss so fast nowadays you might not even get cocoonedplays PC/NA
