Because you see, that ulti doesn't care if someone's a magicka or a stam build, it will easily kill you all the same

Proc sets are an issue, you're right about that. But giving the other side a broken ulti to combat it isn't the answer. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

The issue with eots is that stamina builds can't just mindlessly charge in and proc their sets. Change this now zos so stamina don't have to worry about anything other than other stamina proc sets!!

Its everything to do with the fact that eye of the storm is a massive AoE that zergs abuse coupled with proxy det and vicious death. Magicka users get something good for once pfft lol Sure the games leaning towards stamina and has done for a long time but magicka has some of the most absurd AoE skills in the game and a set which essentially was made to destroy zergs and instead it helps them.

So frankly it does need nerfing or reworking. Eye of the storm is just ruining PvP right now.

zergs are still wearing VD??? odd.... on the majority of my death reports when i get zerged down i havent seen a VD in a few months.... its just been... viper, viper, tremor, a snipe, poison injection, pierce armor, ambush, on occasion a grothdarr even died to EotS a few times.... but its mainly the stam proc sets that i see in my death recap

I give up. As I stated, I only play magicka builds in PVP.

And at this point I'd ask how is the player geared? Wearing your PvE gear int cyrodiil is certain quick death (unless your geared poorly for PvE).

I dont know how the people are geared that I kill with this ult. I rarely get killed on my sorc with this ult as i can shield stack and streak out.
My magblade usually evades groups and fears/mistforms in single target encounters.

VD is actually pretty effective with the destro ultimate. Kill one guy and everyone explodes.

That's not an issue with EOTS though.

Depends on the groups I guess and the server and time of day.

on true flame all my death recaps have had atleast 1 VD when it comes from zergs using mostly EoS and Proxy Det.

nope it isnt the issue. But it does contribute to the mounting AoE issues zergs abuse.

from what ive seen, if there is eye of the storm then there is a proxy det coupled with it. its always the same. which is incredibly frustrating. Vicious Death is just an added frustration too it really. It wasnt as bad as it was before though.

Once someone is on you with EOTS, it's already too late. There are more gap closers and roots/snares than there are ways to escape, so the best defense is torecognize when someone is about to pop it and dive into a group, and get the hell out of the way..

I hate this proctato build more than the Eye of the Storm honestly. You can just move out of the ulti, but viper/tremor/widow setup is unavoidable and bugged. Not to mention the Infernal Guardian set and the Swarm Mother helms ignoring stealthed players...

Usually the deathrecap is something like this when you somehow get caught by the choochoo train

Or something like this if the EotF/VD Emp jumps into you from stealth

@Berenhir i used to wear vd on my magblade when it first came out ... but soon found myself having more fun playing my mDK that doesnt wear that set ...been running with the EoTs as one of my ults for a week now, still die on occasion though while the ult is going

On topic: if there are multiple ultimates in your deathrecap, you were meant to die. Doesn't make the ultimate OP. The only real issue I have with EOTS is that the AOE is so big you are often damaging players you don't even know you are fighting. I think that's kinda dumb.

If you tried that against a strong and competant group of equal size, you would have been slowed to a near standstill upon charging in, rooted, probably CCed, and then definitely Negated, all the awhile you'd get ulti-bombed and slaughtered in seconds.

The amount of absolutely terrible Magicka players that pretend like Eye of Bullcrap is their only useful and dangerous skill is simply amazing. I see ZOS' efforts to shift ESO's focus towards more casual gamers is paying off big time.

However, they aren't nearly as bad as the people pretending to know how PvP works and then still continue to defend this obviously way overpowered ability.

Of course. But if you see a healer standing on top of the keep in a wedding dress it means don't do that. Pro groups are way too easy to spot. I cannot recall the last time I got negated though. No one uses it on XB. Everyone is just going bat *** for viper builds or eye of the storm.
