I am a long way from being PC/IT savvy, we did not have computers when I was at school, I was in my 30's when they became mainstream.
But I'm not stupid, common sense goes along way, I tried the above and it works, it seems quite obvious to me, what's happening is when launched it is reading the first part of the xml file and acting upon it and skipping the EU part
But still this issue would have been obvious and immediate IF it had be tested, my gripe is this got released as is, I am sorry but thats incompetent

Thanks for the update Gina!ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hi guys! We just published a hotfix that should address this issue; you'll need to download a small patch (~57MB), then you should be good to go.

This issue is solved. However in the Launcher we still have the "The Elder Scrolls Online (NA)". Since we are on EU it would make more sense (visually) that we choose a general "The Elder Scrolls Online" in the launcher and then choose the Eu live server in the intro menu. However the main issue is indeed solved.

Yeah, that's something we'll be fixing in a future patch so it's clearer, but wanted to get the main issues hotfixed since we had the fix ready.

Thank you, can now log on EU without problems, the launcher is still trying to reboot my PC however.
Japan don't have a separate server; they all play on the NA server.GeraintMawr wrote: »I wonder what part @Pibbles played in concentrating ZOS' mind? Finally we have a fix and thanks for this, but it is incomplete! We need to be treated as a separate entity and the blinkers removed at the non player end. I wonder how the Japan server upgrade went?
Holy *** this *** game no wonder it struggles! I gave it a chance finally, downloaded that million gb content, and I cannot even get into game (ok, I get there once or twice) because your *** server wont let me in. I log into the account, select Play and after waiting it just tells me to try later. I thought, oh maybe it is temporary issue, but no, I came here 5 days later and still this *** (and apparently I am not alone). I am so glad I only paid around 10e for this crap and did not paid for "premium" (that would be awesome!)
