Nah I think we'd be fine. Think of the IC sets like black rose, the trophies for willpower, agility and endurance, and the hakeijo runes. Those are, for the most part, locked behind the dlc, but it's like this because all of it can be sold/traded.@zuto40 they will never allow you to buy gold mats with Tel var because you can only gain tel var from a DLC kinda P2W.
Just stop. You're making yourself sound like some condescending, self-proclaimed hero of the world who is 80 years old one second, then like an immature five year old the next. In both instances, you should act your age and quit being so obnoxiously rude.also wheres my damn 4th starShad0wfire99 wrote: »Omg plz give me everthing i need to win and be the best at this game, i mean why should i have to grind and level my characters and farm matz they should just give them to me. Millenials make me sick, oh give me this give me that, you are not entitled to anything you didnt work for. So thanks for whinning and shut up
There's no possible way you could sound more like you're 137 years old.
32 to be exact and i worked for all i have i didnt cry and whine and ask to have everything handed to me like you crybabys of today. So just keep sucking your thumbs. Biggest bunch of babys the world has ever seen.
So if we're playing the generation game, thanks for screwing up the world for my generation and any future ones, now go smoke some weed in your single bedroom apartment alone Mr 420
Your right maybe us as parents should have beat a lttle sense into you, and you wouldnt be the smart*** know it all generation.
Edited: and just what are you doing to fix the world cause playing eso isnt helping anyone. And the world was lost long before i was born. So pin you sense of failure in the world on someone else
I recall the guildmate who wasnt old enough to buy ESO on his own, was spending his last summer after high school graduation at 12plus hours playing daily, and thought that his mag-sorc overload build made him superior to we 40/50/60 year olds who have incomes to make and bills to pay.Stoopid_Nwah wrote: »And of course "typical" farming is an option, but with the low drop rates, it can take days to get the amount needed. Xbox Na economy is BS, and the whole "Go farm the mats yourself then!" Answer people keep giving is just bs. Traders are their for when you need something you can't get or don't have time to farm. OP Clearly doesn't need your opinions on how ya feel about the younger generation or how to grind a month worth of mats to refine and upgrade 1 damn set.
The trader are being controlled by a small group of players and is getting ridiculous. You even hear them talking in game chat that their buying all mats, you just go to them, trade and say the price. All day in Stormhaven just buying everything they can get their hands on. As soon as mondays rolls through priced get jacked even higher. The entire player base should be running the economy, not 1-2 guilds.
Is not only mats either, this weekend alone Agility Robust rings went up from 35-40k each to 120k minimum. Viper weapons are 350k minimum on sharpened and the shields on any traits can't find anything less than 500k. This kills any new player that gets to 160CP and wants to try out builds. Not everyone can farm for countless hours to get a few items they need, some people just don't got the time. Trader is their for that same reason.
danielpatrickkeaneub17_ESO wrote: »Why not just let us use gold to buy these from an NPC vendor? This problem is there on PS4 too, just relatively to a lesser extent.
If they let us buy gold mats from an NPC vendor (even if it's only on weekends from the Golden guy in Cyrodiil), it'll at least price fix the mats.
Cause then if you try and sell em for more than the vendor price, no one would buy it from you..
This is the best idea BY FAR. A global auction house would result in an even worse situation because the power buyers wouldn't have to bother to look around for random low handing fruit.
But ... if there was an NPC vendor who sold tempering allows for, say, 10k each, the power buyers would be SOL.
Actually the best idea I ever heard(on another thread) was to make anything you buy from a trader non saleable. Could still sell farmed items/drops but couldn't corner the market by buying low and selling high. But for some, that IS the game and I suppose that would ruin their enjoyment.

People are forgetting that this is GAME. I don't play eso as a chore, I play for fun after a full days commitments. But it gets harder and harder to log on and have fun when people are buying all the tempers and charging 30k for them. And people on here casually are like oh it's inflation lol live with it stop being entitled bla bla bla. No this isn't inflation, it's people with no real life anything holding the monopoly and charging everyone far far far too much for things. All it will achieve is a huge wallet and a gradual population decline.
And that's the thing, I could say I recall members in some guilds that were 60+, retired and spending that same 12+ hours per day on the game, but it doesn't change the fact of the matter: some people have a ton of time in game, others don't. Adding in a system that allows gold mats to be purchased benefits everyone, with the exception of those who are sitting on thousands of mats and driving up prices. It would help out the market quite a bit, farmers who enjoy it can still farm away, pvpers can spend more time in Cyrodiil, pvers can quest, run trials, and go through dungeons.I recall the guildmate who wasnt old enough to buy ESO on his own, was spending his last summer after high school graduation at 12plus hours playing daily, and thought that his mag-sorc overload build made him superior to we 40/50/60 year olds who have incomes to make and bills to pay.Stoopid_Nwah wrote: »And of course "typical" farming is an option, but with the low drop rates, it can take days to get the amount needed. Even if you wanted to farm right now/had the time to, good luck. So many people are running around farming all day, every day. The prices have been on a steady incline since launch, the richer have only been getting richer, guild collusion is beyond obvious, exploited mats are still in this game in insane amounts, the gold mat drop rates are crap...it's just all making eso feel a lot more like a chore and a lot less like a game.
And for anyone who says gold mats aren't needed, look at the weapon/spell damage increases from purple to gold weapons, then get back to me on that.

Not this again. Anytime anything happens that people don't agree with the game is all of a sudden going to die.
I think most have done this including myself but in reality that is not going to happen.
So since you play this as a game and don't consider farming to be part of the game that things should just be handed to you? You as a single player can choose what they do with their in game time just as everyone else can to. Just because you consider farming a chore does not mean everyone else does as well.
As long as people are buying people will continue selling for whatever people buy them for.
Who is to say what is to much? The player base as a whole decides what is to much, not you or me alone.
Nobody forces you to upgrade your items, nobody forces you to buy or farm your gold mats.
Just because you don't enjoy part of the game does not mean others don't as well.

What seems to never get mentioned is when you go to grind those mats yourself there's about a dozen asian gold farmers running rampage on the area. Makes it impossible to farm your own mats. These gold farmers sell the raw mats cheap to the big money ballers and they sell the gold mats at high prices. This is the real problem.
God this is still going on? I must have really hit a sore spot with you guys, and prune juice now thats funny considering im 32 and your coming up right behind me. We all get old only difference is some of us get wiser. So just enjoy being young and living cause you to will get old and die just like the rest of humanity.
Imo, it's the only gold upgrade that I actually care about and think is 100% worth it (aside from enchants). Who said they would be dirt cheap? You're pulling that out of thin air. Knowing zos, if this were implemented, they would price them at 20kStoopid_Nwah wrote: »And that's the thing, I could say I recall members in some guilds that were 60+, retired and spending that same 12+ hours per day on the game, but it doesn't change the fact of the matter: some people have a ton of time in game, others don't. So all you really need to upgrade to gold is weapons, is what you are really saying.
And adding gold upgrade mats to npc would be trashing the time people spent amassing loads of upgrade mats. Also gold upgrade mats are a major part of eso's economy and providing them dirt cheap would definitely tank a good portion of the games economy.
I am not agreeing on how people are using material gained thorough exploits as that is solely on zos for allowing people who exploited to keep their ill gotten gains.
As for everyone else though, they should be able to sell for whatever people are willing to buy them for as they put in the time to either farm the mats or amass the gold to purchase them.
Like I just commented to someone else, just because farming is a chore to you does not mean it is a chore to everyone.

Hey look everyone someone using the age card again, alright buddy lemme say a few things
1: selling them for tel var still requires grinding
2: I played a game called pirate101 you may have heard of it before and might think that's a children's game, your not wrong but the bis gear for that game requires way more grinding then any game you've played, getting top gear took my clan(Undefeated CvC record) over 2 years of playing 12 hours a day, even still after a year of farming I have yet to get shoshos kit, an item locked behind a half hour dungeon with a loot table diluted by 100's of other items, every loot table is diluted like that. Did I mention this bis gear is only wearable by 1 class, there are 5, I know a grind thank you very much
3: I'm assuming you're apart of another generation so yes call me the entitlement generation, it's not like your generation helped **** over the world
