People are just jelly that the German community is so very well taken care of.
If anything we should be grateful that you popped up here at all, I doubt it's your responsibility.
Now that I am back in Europe, it makes sense to inform the English speaking community, too, while Jess and Gina are still asleep. I'll make sure to keep you updated in the future.
And while the EN Community Managers still enjoy their well earned sleep, our technician are now awake and are trying to fix this.
I did notice that even when all are available the German forum is usually the first that gets information. It might be an idea to implement a procedure that lets all forums be provided of info at same time;)

Trust me, if I worked at ZOS I would not be allowed to post at all.. The amount of stuff that I would yell at immature and impatient kids would get me banned from the forum for life..Dread_Viking wrote: »Lumbermill_Emperor wrote: »@Daemons_Bane you are one of those technicians, arent you?

"impatient kids " ?
Guess you mean legitly unsatisfied paying costumers.
Don't take it as an insultIt's just the first phrase that comes to mind when I see how people react.. I can understand the frustration well enough, and I am a paying customer myself that have poured way too much cash into the game hehe.. But at the same time I can take a step back and see that not everything can be handled immediatly.. In this case the server had a malfunction while people were asleep.. The alarm raised the technicians that started working asap.. Later, a forum poster was made aware of the notice and he then proceeded to make a post for us.. That works for me, since I don't, and never will, expect that they pull someone out of bed just to give us that information

The impatience kids things is the typical strawman argument. At this point its laughable at what lengths white knights will go to try and justify how a game thats been out this long, is so riddled with unending breakdowns at the very core of it.
I would not see myself as a white knight in any wayI have my list of stuff that I don't like, just as everyone else.. I just don't see a need to express negativity on a forum.. There's enough of that to last for a lifetime already
Instead I like to try and spread some calm and understanding instead, since that seems to be what we are in short supply of
Then you have other expectations from stuff you pay for then me,
they dont have to get out of bed if they have more teams spread over several time zones,
its a worldwide game, and if they dont have those extra teams then i ACTUALLY expect them to get out of bed asap,
inform the comunity and fix things,
and if they are having a hard time they can complain to the ones above them that make the big money and tell them to get more employees,
it is still no reason to have less expectations for something i paid for,
ZoS is responsible for the game not us.
Proving that players are logged in does not prove that all players cannot log in, as they may have logged in before the issue started. Conversely, if they see that even one player has logged in since the issue started, that alone proves that it does not affect all players, meaning that "some players" is still the correct wording.imo its not hat hard to see if there players online on the server,They have to say "some players" because they have no way of proving that it affects all players until they actually know what the problem is. The players are certainly the ones having the issue, but there's no implication at all that the issue is their fault. The players are having an issue logging in because there is something wrong with the connection to the server.I_killed_Vivec wrote: »The implication of "some players" is that some players aren't having any problems.Daemons_Bane wrote: »Yes it probably is, but the banner speaks truth anyway.. "We are currently investigating issues some players are having regarding logging into the European megaservers."
Almost sounds like it's the fault of "some" players...
Can anyone access the EU servers? Are there people who have managed to log in and are happily playing the game while "some players" cannot?
It's not an issue that some players are having, it's an issue with the EU server.
It's an issue that they have.
I don't believe that, particularly as this is a problem across all platforms...
In any case, language, and the way you use it, is powerful. "Some players" having difficulties implies that these players are doing something wrong because other players don't have any problems.
Who has the issue? "Some players"? Or the server?
By saying that I have an issue with not being able to log in the problem is reflected onto me. That's not the case. The server has an issue with not being able to log me in.
if they even cant check that then we really have a problem.

Did ever somebody think about that, that ZOS informs german forums earlier, because we are the nicier people :O
U know? We provide food, good mornings and sweets, when Kai shows up!

Actually, there are some players left on the server - only a fraction of the usual population but still.
But no matter how many (or few) players are having issues to connect to the European megaservers, nobody is blaming them.

Not sure if ZoS is happy me telling this out here but i recently (2-3 weeks ago) got one day of eso+ added to my sub after several tickets to support where i complained about long downtimes and stuff.
