LoSing out of control

Are you seriously gonna force me to play ring around the rosie with you at 10pm at night? I'm a grown a** man, and that isnt my idea of fun.....

A /tell I actually sent three times tonight..

Seriously no fun to fight LoS addicts. Work on your build. Work on your playstyle. You should only ever have to use LoS short term to reset a fight or let some resources regen or get a pot up.

Players who base their entire play style on this need to diaf.....

What? I would like it if terrain and stuff actually played more of a part in this game, and now there's someone complaining about it.

Or were you just pissed that they moved out of your jesus beam LoS? (I play a templar myself, but don't be a sore loser).

I'm solo 100% of the time. When I fight a player and they start to lose they just literally run circles around a tree to stay opposite me. Often I can still kill them, but if they have any decent sustain and or tankiness good freaking luck!!

This happened 3 times tonight. I can't tell you who won the fight because after 5 minutes of playing ring around the rosie I got bored and left.

    It's stalling and its lame...

Well move away from the bloody tree then, if attacking them there isn't working for you then move!

If they managed to stall your attack by using the scenery, then good for them!

Sorry, but that is a L2P issue. If you are letting someone LoS you, it is YOU who need to work on your build and skills.

Yes, in a 1v1, running around a big tree will be really annoying. But so are alot of things. If you cant CC that person and execute him, that is your fault.

I did move. I left... They didn't follow because they want to fight with LoS affecting the outcome. If we fight to a stalemate only after they hide behind a tree they are just denying an outcome to the fight. Forcing a stalemate. In any type of gaming or fighting this is a foul.

If you PvP regularly you've seen this and I'm sorry its very lame.

I seriously suggest that if you find trees and LoS such a hindrance to your playstyle, you look for a game with a completely flat terrain with nothing else in the way. ESO is not that game.

Well I'm going to have to deny the L2P idea. I'm honestly one of the best out there as far as Magicka NBs go at least. At one time I was one of the best Stam NBs out there as well.

    Very Very successful solo player..

A few guys in the past used LoS to a neat little advantage.

Now every skill less scrub uses it the second a fight starts to go badly..

    Bad form!!

I find cowardice a hindrance to a satisfying outcome to fights in general.

Perhaps I will move on to greener pastures.. I AM on the lookout indeed...

I've heard pretty much everything, but the idea that someone using LoS to avoid attacks is somehow a bad player is just ridiculous. If you were ever able to ignore terrain and buildings in this game, that is the bigger wrong imo.

LoSing is out of control!? You kidding me?? Learn how to play ESO!

SNARES are out of control. Makes solo PvP freaking impossible when one of your Magicka Templars spams Reflective Light, or someone uses one of the million skills that snares/immobilizes you.

You can't be serious. This has to be a trollpost....

As stated Im nearly an exclusively solo player. Ive been the victim of crazy snares and every other BS injustice in this game.

This is what is annoying me most at this moment.

If its not going to help you kill me why the HECK are you doing it????

To stall til help arrives for either me or you?

To heck with that. I just leave..

Is that why you pvp? To not fight???

I find people that constantly depend on LoS to survive irritating as well, especially in 1v1 situations, but at least sorcerers have bolt escape and daedric mines to hard-counter it and make the tree/pillar/mammoth less safe than they were hoping.

The only suggestion I can make is to take the time the people use to hide and start moving toward terrain that benefits you most, because that's what the other person is doing by keeping the fight near obstacles.

    Check out my epeen!

I'm gonna look at my kill counter when the game is back. I'm relatively sure that 95% solo my kills are like 8/1 - 5/1 range.

I am no organized duelist. By any stretch.

I guess after this I will have a big target on my back.. Whoopsy!

Anyways. You say "work on your playstyle". Well, my playstyle involves using LoS. If you don't like it, go play snakes & ladders. Hopefully the board is flat enough for you.
