I did move. I left... They didn't follow because they want to fight with LoS affecting the outcome. If we fight to a stalemate only after they hide behind a tree they are just denying an outcome to the fight. Forcing a stalemate. In any type of gaming or fighting this is a foul.

I seriously suggest that if you find trees and LoS such a hindrance to your playstyle, you look for a game with a completely flat terrain with nothing else in the way. ESO is not that game.

I find people that constantly depend on LoS to survive irritating as well, especially in 1v1 situations, but at least sorcerers have bolt escape and daedric mines to hard-counter it and make the tree/pillar/mammoth less safe than they were hoping.
The only suggestion I can make is to take the time the people use to hide and start moving toward terrain that benefits you most, because that's what the other person is doing by keeping the fight near obstacles.
