So am I missing something??? The only way we were able to kill it is just by burning her...is there something on the ground that we can do to avoid the one shot? The delay between the red aoe and the crystal is too fast to sprint out of and its easy to miss the dodge roll.

No no...the torches are fine...its the mechanic when she climbs up, while the room darkens and spawns crystals which bring your health low first. then the room becomes normal color and the second set hits you...that one usually kills you..0 -

You have to stand still when she starts climbing up, then small circles appear under your feet. Stay still in circles or be instakilled, when circles disappear do two roll dodges and you will survive it.0 -

They shouldn't bring your health low...that was 1-shot kill on PTS and I think it is still 1-shot kill in hardmode.
Mechanics works like this:When you see written "the Lady is hunting with shadow sense" or something similar you have to just stand still, so you completely avoid the first crystal.
Then you look up and you see the Lady hanging from the ceiling. When you see her moving again and jumping back down you only need to dodgeroll to avoid the second one.Edited by d8rmir on August 2, 2016 9:55AM0 -

They shouldn't bring your health low...that was 1-shot kill on PTS and I think it is still 1-shot kill in hardmode.

That makes sense....we will do that next time. We ended up just saying screw it and burned her so fast she skipped that phase, however I would have liked to go through the actual mechanics.0 -

She will drain your ultimate, and according to comments from ZOS's dungeon lead, her Shadow Sense (er, spines from the ground) ability is her ultimate that she casts (so presumably there is a correlation between frequency of this and the amount of ultimate drained, but I have not tested this to confirm).
When she climbs up, stay perfectly still. Do not move.
Pay very close attention to your feet after she has climbed up. There is a very subtle (far too subtle) puff of dust that will appear at your feet. That is your cue to dodge roll.
You will be one-shot if you fail to remain still during that initial phase or if you fail to dodge roll at the right time (not too early, not too late).

Like I said we didn't understand the mechanic so we just skipped it by out-dpsing it...if you look at the few comments above yours, the mechanic was explained and now that I understand it i can run pugs through this dungeon...I'm not sure what the point is of making a comment on a thread when you contribute absolutely zero input to the discussion

But seeing that most telegraphs in this game are ridiculously short timed this might be bad ...

Can you change the binding to something else? There are a number of default bindings that don't make a lot of sense on PC that I had to change...

IwakuraLain42✭✭✭✭✭Nope, you only have a few templates on Console, but none changes the dodge roll. One of the most often requested (and ignored) feature requests for the Console UI.
If this is only a second I can see a bunch of complaints coming in in 2 weeks time. One would have hoped that ZOS would have learned from the problems with the ICP ... doesn't look that way :-(0
