    Why is it that every time someone experiences a bug the response is "INCOMPETENCE"...

    I really hate to break it to you bub, but after playing MMO's since 1998 and muds before that... BUGS OCCUR!

    What's actually incompetence is that a community of MMO player's do not realize that perfection isn't possible...

    One thing I am positive of though, if you /bug report it in game, you can be part of the solution.

    While I am with you on the overblown dramatic way they open this thread, I would classify a working trader as a reasonable expectation... So I'm somewhere in between complete melt down, and not caring at all if basic functions work I guess.

    Ive been playing mmos for a LOOOng time too.... I understand MMOs have their fair share of bugs and screw ups... Even non-mmos like ARPGS like Diablo 3 had lots of bugs too... But ESO is really pushing things to the limit lol... I mean.... Im a reasonable man... With a lot of patience.... But c'mon now.... Can we really defend ESO any farther? Its like every week something HAS to be broken.... Regardless of genre.... I think that needs to be addressed by ZOS....

    With the Dark Brotherhood update, all ESO Plus members would have had their crafting materials automatically moved to their new Craft Bag. If you are missing any materials, check your new bag. You can find more information regarding the Craft Bag here.

    Nothing is broken; guild banks and traders work fine for me.

    I'm going to venture a guess and say that you also can't mail people stuff or do in-person trades with other people? This means that you have a probationary social ban active on your account.

    These kinds of social bans sometimes happens automatically (mass-mailing over 1000 people--three trade guilds that I'm an officer of--triggered an automated ban for 24 hours several months ago), and they sometimes happen because you've been reported by someone, possibly for something you've said in zone chat.

    A reasonable expectation is that core functionality of the game, you know - the stuff that would take their QA team 5 minutes to check, doesn't keep getting broken in patch after patch.

    And if you think /bug is going to do anything except waste your time in typing something, then you either don't play this game or have never reported a bug before. Or you've been lucky enough to be in the 0.1% of bug reports that got an irrelevant, inane response back.

    Ok, while I am NOT affected by said bug, and just happened to have tripped over this thread, I cannot comment on the 'bugs' mentioned. BUT:

    That response? I've seen it many times before from zos. You have an issue, you send in a ticket, CLEARLY describing the issue, you get a response that seems to be 'related' to one single word somewhere in the text you sent in original ticket, then returns a 'fix' for a most common, easily fixed/researcher issue.

    Example may be that : When training my horse, my horses stamina went down, NOT up, after using crown store scroll.

    Response may be 'you can find horse trainers in many towns across tamriel.'

    Of course its then followed up with a 'we so glad we helped you fix your problem, and if you have any other questions feel free to respond'

    The guild traders work fine for me, however I think they are among the worst game trading systems ever put into a game. The interface needs a complete overhaul. Traveling all over to find one item is deeply flawed. It seems like the dev team sat down and decided to make trading the most annoying and time consuming task in the game.

    The first response to a ticket is most likely an automated one so if that response doesn't fix the problem reply to the response and wait for an actual reply from a real person.

    At E3 ZoS states the game has 7,000,000 players. Now even if only 20% of the players have a sub that's $21,000,000 a month that's more then enough to keep the lights on pay the bills and fix bugs. Even with 10% that's $10,500,000 per month. So they have the money to fix and upgrade what they need.

    I see what you are trying to get at. I do. But the odds of this person's name being "bub" is pretty slim. The odds of someone actually taking one's point to heart after being addressed as "bub" is about the same.

    Sadly this is the most productive way of getting anything actually addressed to someone's issues. Submitting tickets is an underwhelming and pointless exercise so the only resolution available is to shout about it on the forums (and tag one of the admins) until it gets addressed.

    As someone who has had a social ban before (ZOS's automated system didn't like me mass-mailing the trade guilds that I'm an officer of :p), these symptoms are exactly those of a social ban--you can play and log in, but your ability to do things is limited. Whether or not the ban was dished out appropriately is another issue, but it the symptoms described are indeed intended for someone who is under such a sanction.
