I have the crowns, not buying it, not worth it to me--but I don't want them to be as common as a regular horse, you know?

In english:
From the beginning this mount was with its appearance and animations a special mount (with a special price). There were the expected (and hoped for) reactions since it was on PTS.
So it costs more than usual since it has a special summoning and so on.
But still I hope that they'll looking into this and maybe reconsidering the prices on the next mounts.
^ mate no mount is worth 1k crowns more than a full DLC zone, not even special glowing limited edition ones.
Also mate it's called an opinion everyone has one, these people are entitled to show how they feel on this forum.

I second that, but also I personally have no problem with those who bought it. Good for them. I do however have a problem with the decision Zos made to make a mount more expensive than a DLC.
I am a PC and Xbox One player who has purchased boxed Collector's Editions for both platforms. I then got my wife hooked on it enough to purchase a second Xbox One and Imperial Edition to play together. We both have each purchased several previous mounts at the 2500 price point, most of the costumes including the hero costumes, many pets as well as the DLC Collector's editions.
We obviously love this game, have money to spend and the desire to enjoy the crown store content.
That said, 4000 crowns for just 1 mount....... No bonus scrolls, potions, pets or even a 2 for one mount offer on another senche model that this one is based on.....
I was super excited for this mount and was ready to run home and drop my crowns on it, but no, we will not be purchasing this one on general principle.
It's a shame too, it is a nice looking mount. It's just difficult to justify a glamour item that costs more than DLC zones or in the same range as DLC bundles even when we have the money. Consumers have the power to change, but only if they are smart in their purchases. I won't hate on anyone purchasing it, but I'd hope that they strongly consider the precedent they are setting in doing so and instead choose to send a message to ZOS.
Hopefully they take a look at the direction going forward and adjust their pricing accordingly.

Especially when they are as ugly as this one with its blue *** leakage spew. I don't get why the ugliest mounts cost the most. This is the second mount with blue *** spew and both were expensive and very ugly looking when running. ZOS seems to have a tough time with those particle effects.
More flaming tracks on the ground, less *** spew.
But if they sell, awesome. I'm all for ESO being profitable. And taste is subjective, so my opinion means nothing (though the *** spew also makes group play in Cyrodiil annoying when the incontinent mount in front of you is dripping waste in your face as you ride.

I personally love that people running behind me have to taste my blue fairy dust MWHAHAHAHA~
Maybe.
Some limited time mounts do come back (like the zombie horse which is coming back for Halloween), others have only ever been available once.
ZOS doesn't tell us if things will be coming back or when until they're announcing the return of a specific item, which is usually just before it comes back.
I cast Sense the Dead.
I sense a dead thread nearby.
I cast Cavorting Bones level 1 and necro the thread.
Casually, with a sense of entitlement I then begin to chant Reclaim Energy in an effort to suck the necro'd thread dry.
I then Siphon Strength and Lifetap those my necro'ing angers.
Ding! I hit level 2 off of the necro'd thread.
I then cast Numb the Dead to quell the naysayers.
