It doesn't matter anyway I see why you are here now. Every other comment is yours intentionally either having a crack or arguing so have a lovely day/evening where ever you are
Spoken like someone who can't back up their own arguments with logic and reasoning and simply turns tail to avoid a debate which they know they will lose. Have a nice day
No I just do not want to feed the troll. I do not understand your undying need for replies or justification to others why this is so high in price. If you agree with the price move on and let others have their say, no need to reply to basically everyone is there.
Labeling someone who has an opposite view of yours as a "troll" is a desperate attempt to justify backing away from the debate and rationalize insane beliefs. If you disagree with the price, move on and let others have their say. No need to reply to basically everyone there is.
Okay I am not replying to anyone but you there for I am leaving everyone have their say. You believe that I am backing away all you want I however have a life and am now enjoying it by not sitting on the internet white knighting for a company that obviously cares nothing for it's customers.
In another note there price is to high but it still looks cool.
You are backing away, because that's exactly what you're doing. Failing to explain your position that ZOS are "money grabbers". I posted a perfectly reasonable response that refuted this claim and all you have done so far is call me a troll. That actually is the exact behavior of a troll. Also lol @ using the term "white knighting" unironically. Are you some 16 year old 4channer? lmao
I have to wonder if this was a test to see what the metrics would look like on units sold. They haven't sold anything cosmetic this expensive before, and they are probably trying to find the point at which the number of buyers drops below the desired threshold. Since supply is infinite (but not availablity) they need to have at least 1.5 times the number of people buy this compared to a mount that costs 2.5k crowns. (That was fake guessing math, no one freak out, you get the point).
That said, 4k is hilariously expensive.

Congrats ZOS, you pulled a TOTALLY EA move
Look, ill agree that this is not as bad as some of the Things EA does, however a 40$ mount.....This is bad, and something i could see EA doing in a heartbeat, so while its not as bad as the worst of EA, its definatly something they would do, as such, i stand by my comparison. It may not be P2W, but that doesnt really comfort me at all
Where do people keep getting $40 for the mount? Even buying full price 5500 crowns for $40, the mount is $29. If you bought the crowns on discount, it is considerably less.
Many people didnt get the crowns on discount,MANY people, and the mount is $30.00.
$30.00.
$40 for 5500 crowns is $.0072373 per crown. That is $29.09 for 4000 crowns.
ha $0.91 cents doesn't make or break someone with this purchase and something over $25 is an absurd asking price for anything that's not DLC...good for you if you want to buy into that, they're betting their prices on your purchase.
Even if you're a millionaire, don't you feel slightly suckered buying a flaming panther reskin for $30?
Umm,..I could live off it forever, living off only the interest. My needs are few.Cable TV,Internet,ESO,and rent.
(my rent is $216 a month for a roomy one bedroom)

The rent will never increase? I am a landlord (renting out two previous residences) and I increase the lease over time. Food? Electricity? Water? Health insurance (unless you want a HUGE risk)? Car? Ever getting married? Kids? (Kids are the most expensive thing you will ever have). The mount is cheap by comparison to real life.

Price gouging is still price gouging.
Knowing people will want what you have very much, and setting the price so high that they will have to struggle to purchase it.
Kinda greedy.Even though it isnt needed, but is a prestige purchase.

This doesn't qualify as price gouging. That is when someone marks up the price of something by a huge amount because it is all of a sudden in high demand and can't be found elsewhere. This is just a general, high end price for an item that is not needed by anyone.

Where in particular did you get your business degree? Oops my bad you don't have one and I doubt you understand what it takes to run one.

personally i love the game i have a sub so i basically save the crowns up
i also buy crowns on sale atleast 2 x 5k purchases every sale
i dont get where u think u have the right to complain about the pricing of something .
if u cant afford it so be it
if u dont think its value for money dont buy it
all the qq in this post drives me crazy that u all think u have the right to this item ... u dont if u cant afford it
i personally think the mount looks cool as hell and ive brought 1 for both my accounts
I'm standing in Mournhold watching the show offs pass by with their new shiny black senche. I looked at the crown store and was shocked to see that unlike any previous limited edition mount, this one cost 4,000. It kinda sparkles when it walks. Worth it?
I think I might have boughten it if it cost 2,500 like previous limited edition mounts. Would you pay 4,000 for a flying mount?
P.S. Congrats to all the proud owners of a $40 vanity item. =D

I have a business degree, an MBA (and working on a business PhD) and own a business, as well as having set up several others - Does that mean I'm allowed an opinion on it? I agree it is a rip off. Should I return my degress and close down my company? There is more than one way to run a business - ZOS choose one route, not a route I would choose for mine. The pricing of items such as this strike me as profiteering, bordering on exploiting customers' loyalty.

It's more than just $10.00.It's $29.09.
(I was corrected when I said it was $30.00)

Yes you should return it and pick up a degree in charitable organization's (totaly a sarcastic comment). This mount is pure fluff and in no way does someone have an obligation to purchase it. If it's such a bad business decision to do these sorts of things, why did Blizzard make billions doing it?
If you don't agree with the price don't purchase it. I will be getting it tonight when I get home from work.
