I personally think it's overpriced, but I don't begrudge anyone who chooses to buy it. It's a cool mount, I like seeing them, but I don't plan to buy it myself.

I knew this mount was coming months ago and saved my crowns from ESO+ so it has not hit my wallet at all. I get all the free DLC AND the lighting Kitty to boot.. So I am happy. There is not much in the crown store to want if you are ESO+ so the cat was a nice added bonus.

Now with the free crafting bag coming soon there will be even more salt from the people that just want to cherry pick from the crown sore instead of ESO+.

I think should follow the current standard. I think Frostmare was the most expensive mount 3,000. I can afford the senche but I won't buy since it doesn't suit my character roleplay wise but I sympathize with those who were disappointed with the pricing. On the other hand, the game needs money in order to keep going and its an entire vanity item, so I understand their side. I'd say they would make more money by lowering it to 3,000 and sell more rather than sell higher, however their metrics will now be bumped up, since a lot of people bought the mount at that price anyways, so I expect we will raise the bar to 4,000 crowns to exotic mounts thanks to these purchases. TLDR: I don't know how I feel about it, but I understand both sides.

Since they are intent on inflating their prices for CS items, I can never buy crowns again unless I can catch them on sale. It would be really dumb to pay full price for them going forward.

I think it looks cool, but it just doesn't fit with any of my characters nor do I see it fitting with any characters in the future; not unless they specifically added a new 'summoner' class.

There's no lack of pricey mounts in the game , so despite the gnashing of teeth and Bernie communist rants about unfairness , seems Zenimax did fine with it monetarily.

This thread was started to get a voice together about the ridiculous price of a mount. But you rather come in and be a butt about it. Cool, what ever, most people forget where they came from. This isn't about rich or poor, its between right and wrong. And if you think a mount that is more than a DLC is ok, I don't know what to say.....

Its the principle, anyone that bought this mount just approved ZOS to jack up prices on all new mounts. That is what this post was trying to do, get people to come together for a purpose.........

P.S. I sincerely am happy you make good money and have a decent job. I really am, no jokes.

Yes I think it's a bit pricey too and I'm still debating whether to get this or not.

Nein, eigentlich nicht. Dieses Reittier war mit seinem Aussehen und den Animationen von Anfang an als besonderes Reittier (mit einem besonderen Preis) geplant. Als er dann auf dem PTS auszuprobieren war, gab es die entsprechenden (und erhofften) Reaktionen.

From the beginning this mount was with its appearance and animations a special mount (with a special price). There were the expected (and hoped for) reactions since it was on PTS.

So it costs more than usual since it has a special summoning and so on.

I personally hope they're reading the forum and decide not to set the price this high again with the next mount.
Since I want to buy the red wold mount and I don't wanna pay 1000 crowns extra for its red fur...

But anyway, still hope you guys enjoy the game with or without the mount

There is no "right and wrong" , morality , or any other ridiculous terms about pricing of a vanity item in an online GAME.

No one "needs" to even play this game to begin with. Every single person here "wastes" money on their game , their PC or console. It's hypocritical *** for any person to act holier than thou about what they don't spend money on. You think a homeless person thinks it's any more reasonable to buy this game at all whether you spend 5 dollars on it or 500 ?

I haven' t forgotten where I come from , my wife does lots of volunteer work with her time and I write checks often to everything from the ASCPA to Shriners and we take pictures of our kids dropping off the trunk load of toys for toys for tots at the local fire station every year.

I feel no pity for anyone whining about a virtual mount price. Nothing here is important or matters.

It's whiny little jealous and hypocritical people trying to inject ridiculous arguments like "morality" about an item like this that have lost all sense of reality.

And I think the price is fine , the tears in a thread about an item in a virtual game are a bonus for me.

That's why I hope the next ones are even a little more , it'll be more amusing.

We have decided to close this thread as it has long since gotten off topic to that of the OP topic. Discussion on the senche mount has more or less made its point and has moved on to more personal discussions.

That being said, if you would like to continue discussion, there is still a thread open here with the theme of Senche mount prices here. However we would advice in advance to keep the thread on topic and away from lifestyle debate. Part of the reason we discourage extensive real-life discussion is that this is at risk of insulting other people's way of life (which is against our rules). Furthermore it has nothing to do with ESO.
