I will still get it, because I'm a massive consumer wh*re and its just too pretty to pass on, but it will be the last of the vanity stuff I buy just because of the principle.

It is very pretty. They clearly devoted some time into the detail. The animation when it spawns is beautiful. There's something wonky with the fur. It looks blurry.
Still, my thought is that it would be nice if the other (already existing mounts) had this quality as well. We already know how let down people were by the lion, which was literally a reskin of the lioness with a mane. The bears were exactly the same with just different fur colors. I wonder if they could go back and rework the code on mounts. Yea right though.

That's true. I think that's why people are thinking about the cost relatively. It's the same price as a DLC (that takes hours and hours to develop).
I forgot about that but you know their going to sell the Black Direwolf a week later that's why am not sure if I should buy it and just get the white wolf and not the black one.I was going to buy the dromathra senche but not at 4000 crowns worth. I'll spend those 4000 crowns on the DB collectible edition and get a free wolf mount instead.

I think I might have boughten it if it cost 2,500 like previous limited edition mounts. Would you pay 4,000 for a flying mount?
P.S. Congrats to all the proud owners of a $40 vanity item. =D
I think they are overpriced however I purchased one mainly due to I sub and haven't wanted to spend crowns on anything else so the crowns were piling up.
Must say your post feels a little green with envy is there a need to call people show offs?
It's a nice mount but if it doesn't poop motifs then it's not worth 4k
Does it poop motifs? Has anyone checked? ;P

Gaming is a hobby that people spend money on just like people spend money on other hobbies.
Little League baseball? $100 USD is a drop in the bucket compared to the costs you'd spend on putting your kid through Little League.
RC Cars? $100 won't even buy you half the parts for a single car.
And I can name other hobbies that people see no issue when someone sinks (literally) thousands of dollars into said hobbies.
But video games? Spend some money on video games when that is your hobby of choice, and people think it's "sad".
As I said, I'm not buying this particular mount. I personally can't justify spending more on a vanity mount than I spend on a DLC, but I have already sunk hundreds of dollars into this game, and I don't regret it one bit.
That's not "sad", that's me supporting my Hobby, and a game that I love in that hobby.

Just noticed this now when logging in. 4,000 Crowns, are you have a giraffe?!
And of course, people will feel more compelled to get it because it's a limited offer.

So 4k crowns for a mount is pretty reasonable in comparison.
