4,000 Crowns for new Senche Mount Too Much?

If I had my sub refresh now, i'd buy it even it was worth the 9k i get every 6 months since it went b2p.

It's a Bragging Rights item.

How is it bragging rights when everyone else can guy it too?
The Striped Sensche,which was given to only beta players, is a bragging rights item because it was only for one thing.Not something bought in the crown store.
Or,buying a mount ingame with earned gold,not crowns.Whenever I see someone riding a horse that isnt and never was in the Crown store,I smile because I know they earned that mount. Something to be proud of kinda.

How do we know it cost 4k crowns and was around for most of Thieves Guild.With a good number of people buying the assistance just for that reason most of made ZoS a pretty penny.When they reached their goal of sells they started working on the bug.Which possible been around since the start of the game.

$40 for a vanity item? Not this guy. People will buy it, otherwise it wouldn't be so expensive. But $40 for something with absolutely no return on investment, I couldn't bring myself to do that.

You all won, ZoS relented and went B2P.

But now ZoS is left with the task, of y'know, still making money. And to avoid your delicate sensibilities they can't do anything that smacks of buy-to-win (just go read the unceasing ridiculousness present in the crafting bags threads for perspective. Any of them will suffice.).

So that leaves them with cosmetic things. Or utility items to make up for the loss of a sub base. After all, they still would like a ROI (return on investment in grown-up parlance).

And then they go about offering said items an, of course, they're priced too high.... it's unfair...but I want one...

Sheesh.

Make up your mind everybody on how EXACTLY you'd like ZoS to go about making money so as not to offend, m'kay?

I say if people buy it then crank up the price of all the vanity stuff as much as you want ZoS!

I'd prefer outrageous prices on vanity stuff than the expansion DLC.

I think they are overpriced however I purchased one mainly due to I sub and haven't wanted to spend crowns on anything else so the crowns were piling up.

It's a nice mount but if it doesn't poop motifs then it's not worth 4k

I sub, for now, and have crowns piling up. Doesn't mean the thing isn't a rip off.

If ZOS has metric data that shows who actually spent more money on crown packages to get this over those who have sub crowns stacked so they see if it sold extra crown packs, then I might waste crowns on it.

But since I doubt that have that kind of metadata, my crowns will sit in virtual bank, unused.

Who cares about metadata? If you want it and the price is right for you, buy it. If not, then don't. It's that simple. Market dynamics will work itself out. If this thing doesn't sell as much as ZOS wanted it to, they will take note. It's called business.

After saying I wasn't logging in until the DB release, I decided to login and buy it. Why? Because, I have bought numerous crown packs (when they were on sale) in the past. So rather than let my crowns pile-up, and go to waste? I figured I'd treat myself to this beautiful mount.

Was it worth 4,000 crowns? No. Would I have bought it, if I didn't have tons of crowns at my disposal? No. Am I happy about my purchase. Yes.
