Called the wife, let her know that a mount I wanted was going to be on the Crown Store and that I wanted to buy it. She asked me how much and I said 30 dollars to be safe(I have a some crowns still left over from ESO+).I got the go ahead and did not draw any wife aggro.
If I had my sub refresh now, i'd buy it even it was worth the 9k i get every 6 months since it went b2p.
It's a Bragging Rights item.
just deal with it, peasants ;3

Didn't draw any wife aggro? But, you're the tank!

How do we know it cost 4k crowns and was around for most of Thieves Guild. With a good number of people buying the assistance just for that reason most of made ZoS a pretty penny. When they reached their goal of sells they started working on the bug.Which possible been around since the start of the game.dimensional wrote: »Well before they fixed the banker you could argue its P2W.You could acquire more gold mats at a faster pace then someone who didn't buy the banker.dimensional wrote: »TX12001rwb17_ESO wrote: »ZoS are starting to show signs of not being intelligent, don't they realize they would of made more money if it were cheaper as more people would of brought it.
What would ZOS rather have? 1 person buys it for 4k or 2 people buy it for 2.5k?, you would make more money if both of those people brought it, less people are going to buy it because it's is out of many player's price range.
See this is what happens when a game goes P2W, if ESO was still sub-based we wouldn't have this stupid crown store and none of these unlorefriendly things.
Literally nothing about this game is P2W, in fact I challenge you to point out a single item in the crown store that makes you "win" the game if you buy it compared to items that can be obtained through playing the game normally. Furthermore, nothing about this mount is lore unfriendly, it ties in directly with the dro-mathra from the Maw of Lorkhaj.
Yes, that's called a bug not an intended feature so it's still not P2W.

To brag about something, doesnt that mean you earned the right to brag?
Or is it just being a braggart, meaning that it is an empty boast.
Dont get mad at me again, and think I am stalking you.I just asked.

Who the hell said anything about getting mad and stalking?
Bragging has nothing to do with earning. Rich kids brag all the time about their cars that mommy and daddy bought them.

I think I might have boughten it if it cost 2,500 like previous limited edition mounts. Would you pay 4,000 for a flying mount?
P.S. Congrats to all the proud owners of a $40 vanity item. =D
I think they are overpriced however I purchased one mainly due to I sub and haven't wanted to spend crowns on anything else so the crowns were piling up.
Must say your post feels a little green with envy is there a need to call people show offs?
It's a nice mount but if it doesn't poop motifs then it's not worth 4k

"No subscription!" was the early hue and cry. "Only WoW can survive on subs.".
You all won, ZoS relented and went B2P.
But now ZoS is left with the task, of y'know, still making money. And to avoid your delicate sensibilities they can't do anything that smacks of buy-to-win (just go read the unceasing ridiculousness present in the crafting bags threads for perspective. Any of them will suffice.).
So that leaves them with cosmetic things. Or utility items to make up for the loss of a sub base. After all, they still would like a ROI (return on investment in grown-up parlance).
And then they go about offering said items an, of course, they're priced too high.... it's unfair...but I want one...
Sheesh.
Make up your mind everybody on how EXACTLY you'd like ZoS to go about making money so as not to offend, m'kay?
