4,000 Crowns for new Senche Mount Too Much?

I'm standing in Mournhold watching the show offs pass by with their new shiny black senche. I looked at the crown store and was shocked to see that unlike any previous limited edition mount, this one cost 4,000. It kinda sparkles when it walks. Worth it?

I think I might have boughten it if it cost 2,500 like previous limited edition mounts. Would you pay 4,000 for a flying mount?

P.S. Congrats to all the proud owners of a $40 vanity item. =D

That mount costs more than DLC.

Likely because zos put more effort into it than it's DLC.

I think they are overpriced however I purchased one mainly due to I sub and haven't wanted to spend crowns on anything else so the crowns were piling up.

Must say your post feels a little green with envy is there a need to call people show offs?

It's a nice mount but if it doesn't poop motifs then it's not worth 4k

There is no mount in this game worth 4000 crowns. However, there is no sense complaining. ZOS is not going to listen. Just don't buy it and problem solved. What is really funny is you will be able to buy an additional character slot for a lot less than 4000 crowns.

If I had crowns saved up from a 50% off sale or from subbing I would buy it. If PS4 had multi month subs I 'might' sub for 3-6 months and use the crowns to buy it. I'm not going to pay 30 bucks for 5500 crowns to buy it and I'm not going to pay 45 bucks to pay for 90 days of game-time to buy it.

@Volkodav @Pandorii They just announced character slots will be 1500 crowns each. In a super recent website article.

I was absolutely prepared to drop 2500 crowns the second I Iogged in tonight. 4000? Welp. Not sure now.

If by mult-month sub you mean paying for months in advance, PS4 does have that feature. If you buy two months, you get 3,000 crowns and so on...

I have to wonder if this was a test to see what the metrics would look like on units sold. They haven't sold anything cosmetic this expensive before, and they are probably trying to find the point at which the number of buyers drops below the desired threshold. Since supply is infinite (but not availablity) they need to have at least 1.5 times the number of people buy this compared to a mount that costs 2.5k crowns. (That was fake guessing math, no one freak out, you get the point).

That said, 4k is hilariously expensive.

Yeah, supremely disappointed. I was prepared to drop up to 3K. I have plenty to spend, I bought extra to make sure I'd have enough to get that and the Dark Brotherhood. But no, I don't think I can justify this. That's a ridiculous amount of money for a reskin. It's very pretty--or at least the effects are pretty, the fur is meh. But no, I believe they can keep it.

ZoS are starting to show signs of not being intelligent, don't they realize they would of made more money if it were cheaper as more people would of brought it.

What would ZOS rather have? 1 person buys it for 4k or 2 people buy it for 2.5k?, you would make more money if both of those people brought it, less people are going to buy it because it's is out of many player's price range.

See this is what happens when a game goes P2W, if ESO was still sub-based we wouldn't have this stupid crown store and none of these unlorefriendly things.

Too expensive for my tastes.

While I genuinely enjoy the Kitteh Mounts (I own all of them so far), 4000 is unjustifiable for me.

I'd pay 2500 Crowns, like the rest of the Mounts are priced, but I won't spend more on a vanity mount than I would for DLC. But that's just me.

Yes, but on PC you get a nice discount when buy a multi month subscription. PS4 there is no discount available. (Hence the 45 bucks for 90 days comment)

One main reason I play MMOs is because they are fun, social, and I feel like a subscription is a better value than buying new games every month or two (most single player campaigns in games are done much quicker than just the main story line in ESO). However, buying a single item at that price just kills the value.

Of course, the mount is optional. They can charge what they want and players who want it bad enough will buy it. I want it... I would also take just about any feline mount other than a lion, but I was on PC when those limited offers were available so the mount I really want (even more than this one) is not available to me on ps4 even though I have it on PC.

Way too expensive, I can afford it but my priorities with spending in life, aren't in-game mounts. I'd have bought it if it was at least 2500, not 4000....
