IC looks FREAKING AMAZING and I can't wait for those changes to happen. Both on the PvE and PvP side...PvE assuming that the balancing means making those 2 dungeons harder. Harder dungeons for me would be just as good as new dungeons.

    @Valrien
Given how the other vet dungeons can be done virtually blindfolded... and how the two IC dungeons are quite a bit harder for most people you may be disappointed.

If they were making stuff harder I would assume they would be re balancing the other dungeons... given they stated its the IC dungeons being rebalanced it sounds like its going the other way.

    For 'Re-balance' read 'Nerf'.

For the record though I do agree.... needs to be a bit harder.... the older dungeons are so stupidly easy now, gold keys get a bit dull now.

TBH I think the next DLC needs to have some real focus on group stuff.... several new 4 man dungeons... maybe a couple of old normal dungeons with a vet mode as well.

The balance in TG was beyond broken even on PTS, and I was so jaded by it that even though I had enough crowns from before I cancelled my sub to buy the DLC, to this day I could care less about any of the content it contained. The same will be true for DB - if the balance is yet again blatantly broken, to me, it doesn't matter what else they include. Many will be happy with new quests, all that will make me happy is a functional base game.

Still was closest balance we have seen between mag and Stam since 1.5. What makes mag better was ults and vd.

Balance means more to me than magicka being relative to stam builds. Balance includes TTK, counters, mitigation, mobility, diversity and options, and quick action on grossly overperforming combinations. On that grading scheme, TG was a complete failure.

I for one am tired of solo content. I like groups...it's the reason I play MMOs. That and I have a bit of an ego and an inclination towards competition so an environment with other plays suits that :P

For the next-next DLC I'd love expanded group dungeons (perhaps even old ones as well as new ones in vet modes?) and Trials. Real challenges (read: skill-based mechanics, not hard-hitting mobs) like parkour-esque gauntlets and puzzles.

ya, but i dont like getting into the nitty gritty with balance. as long as there is balance among races, champ system, and mag an stam are on the same lvl, then I am fine. It is am MMo after all. There will also be better combos or skills. Class balance will always fluctuate based on skill changes and the new "meta" which can be hard to predict until it is released. That aspect will likely never change.

Unless it offers something other than just some solo quests it'll be weak. In 18 months we've received 1 trial and 2 dungeons. This is important since all previous trials are set to lower vet levels and all the older dungeons do not truly scale to v16.

The best older content, vDSA, is also easy it's a joke.

ESO devs are behind the competition big time.

only second update since their new model.

TG brought questing story line and pve content with some changes to pvp such as vendor and ROTW

DB is bringing questing story line and pvp content with some changes to pve such as revamped trial

Remeber you can still quest with friends. Also, people seem to forget this is a TES game. story lines and questing is the bread and butter of TES games.

I took to the time to talk about Thief, because it had great equipment/skills for firing Blinding Powder, Ice Arrows, Noisemakers, a steampunk cybermagical-eye that let him zoom in on a target or see in the dark etc. A lot of his equipment was about sneaking, and I think something similar could be added to the Thieves toolkit.

Noisemakers, that'd be dope. So many times in heists I wish I could just throw a coin at the opposite wall to make a guard turn around...

I will wait til I see it on the PTS before having an opinion.

What if the DB dlc is as small as Thieves Guild and it's quested and explored in a week? In that case it's a lose.

If it's like Wrothgar where I can continue to go back and have fun it will be a win.

No new or revamping of 4-man content plus a nerf to the only good existing 4-man content? Ugh, no.

I still haven't done the Orsinium or Thieves Guild questlines. With the exception of vMA, the solo content in this game too easy/boring, and vMA is such a lonely experience. Shockingly, I actually like playing multi-player content in a multi-player game, particularly the 4-person stuff.

The Sanctum overhaul is good, and I am looking forward to that. But 4-person content--stuff that you can do with a small group of friends without organization and planning--is the bread and butter of the game's multi-player component.

well it contains anvil and kvatch. Two large cities. I would assume the area in between also which is pretty large. Tg only had the one city. I would anticipate it being closer to wrothgar.

Regardless, the point was that the original comment was talking about how it was a weak dlc ith no new dungeons. Even going back to IC there has been new dungeons in every DLC except DB.

Can someone let me know where all this information is coming from? I cant seem to find it.Is it a youtube thing? I looked in the dev discussion and the news forums but found nothing. I must have just missed it. It's all for PvPers?
So,the next DLC is going to be in Cyrodiil then? That's all I found.

there is a page on the home page with a "sneak peak."

There is a whole pve quest line with DB. There is also an SO trial revamp. For pvp there is capturable districts in IC. The rest involves the game as a whole.
