Love what I saw. Sanctum revamp, capturable districts, poison making, skill revamps, item locking, no vet ranks, dB questing, and crafting bags.

Is this the update we have been waiting for? Is this the update that hits it out of the park finally? Exciting stuff!

looks fantastic but... why only sanctum? and I doubt the skill line will be much use in combat as ppl will cry p2w. other than those two minor things yeah looks like a sure fire win

    I'm not that hyped, tbh.
i don't dislike it, but so far I couldn't bring myself to do TG quests. I might have overstayed my time in Tamriel. I've pretty much exclusively been in Cyrodiil during TG. The performance boosts don't sound like a huge deal (something as dramatic as needed would probably be advertised more) and it will be interesting to see the effect of poisons (though I a a bit afraid this might be a step back towards from-stealth snipes which wasn't exactly my favourite phase of the game's PvP. But I'll be happy to wait and see).

Not that I don't look forward to anything new. But arenas or similar changes would be a MUCH bigger deal for me

I'd need new Undaunted dungeons for this to be a home-down but it still looks really good atm.

I like. Whole year has been very Nightbladey though, guess a healing DLC would be pretty boring. Excited for DB none the less.

Preliminary thoughts are, the more things you change the more things that can potentially go wrong. And most likely a lot will go wrong. Personally, I was fine with the vet system. Tho I see the merits in its removal, I just hope we all emerge on the other side in tact. And of course, I'm so hyped about this stamina 'balancing'. It's my favorite playstyle and is pretty damn strong right now despite all the people QQing about it. Can't wait to see how great stam builds can get with the new changes.

Depending on how they pull off poisons it might be even more of a DPS increase in PvE, as well as adding a nice new layer to PvP.

Not a fan of any stamina buffs as they are already incredibly powerful in PvP (though if they could buff their abilities in PvE without affecting PvP too much that would be phenomenal...and then I would demand Sorcs get the same treatment since that's a similar issue with buffing their DPS).

    Vet change is amazing.

I like raiding a lot so the Sanctum change is nice...I hope to get much lootz.

IC looks FREAKING AMAZING and I can't wait for those changes to happen. Both on the PvE and PvP side...PvE assuming that the balancing means making those 2 dungeons harder. Harder dungeons for me would be just as good as new dungeons.

Ya, the poison making will be really nice. For me l, that is a staple to test games.

I am also very excited for the Stam balance. This may finally be the patch that gets balance in that regard right.

As for why not scale other trials and what not...I think it is just resources and had to choose a trial to do. I am glad they chose this one.

For me the most exciting part is the capture districts. This is huge for pvp. Especially as an escape during prime time lag. This may even help with cyro lag in Genta by splitting the population more.

I'm not expecting much from the ongoing cyrodil work.

DB is also my favorite guild of all, so I will actually take the time to go through the quests and what not.

Someone mentioned the skill lines for db. Those are all passive and I don't expect andlything from them. Just as us less as the tg passive more likely.

Way too many uncreatain things to get excited. Im almost sure theyll find a way to make poison crafting benefit magicka builds more than stamina. And the stamina changes will consist of making terrible stamina skills merely bad while breaking the few good things we still had left. Or theyll introduce a single absurdly OP stamina skill and go 'there, all balanced'.

Way too soon to tell. But looks good so far. I would say it's a solid hit if everything works decently without breaking the game.

The balance in TG was beyond broken even on PTS, and I was so jaded by it that even though I had enough crowns from before I cancelled my sub to buy the DLC, to this day I could care less about any of the content it contained. The same will be true for DB - if the balance is yet again blatantly broken, to me, it doesn't matter what else they include. Many will be happy with new quests, all that will make me happy is a functional base game.

Still was closest balance we have seen between mag and Stam since 1.5. What makes mag better was ults and vd.

I actually see this patch as being good for healers. Efficient Purge and Cleansing Ritual will be really nice for players to have available to them while they're being poisoned to death. There is a chance that using poisons will also be on the same timer as using potions (though that seems a bit odd).

I for one would like to see them add some qol actives to the Thieves Guild skill line, and going forward make more interesting heists more akin to the Thief series. Thief had these great missions like the heists in this game. You had to crawl your way through the city past guards (you were a wanted man) then you had to sneak your way onto the grounds of a property past outdoor security, then you had to sneak your way through all kinds of indoor security to get the primary and optional objectives completed/stolen. I'd love to see something like this for future TG missions (and DB missions).

I took to the time to talk about Thief, because it had great equipment/skills for firing Blinding Powder, Ice Arrows, Noisemakers, a steampunk cybermagical-eye that let him zoom in on a target or see in the dark etc. A lot of his equipment was about sneaking, and I think something similar could be added to the Thieves toolkit.

Seems an amazing patch. And I say patch rather tan dlc because it seems like this one will be the smallest regarding end game content Gate. I am just a bit dissapointed about no new 4-man dungeon, I guess we'll have to stick to the trials until quarter three.

another thing I'd have loved to see is the race change, thouhgt it was coming this patch. Anyways I'm very hypped, the teaser looks awesome.

Absolutely no way of knowing until after the update. TG was highly anticipated and very underwhelming for a whole lot of people.

Also, with all the changes, the FOTM builds will likely be changes, and tested, and unanticipated imbalances will almost definitely flood the forums from those getting wrecked by some other recently OP class.

It has some fun-sounding stuff listed, and a lot of it is what we have asked for, raising hope for future updates. However, I will reserve any judgement until I see the pitcher and watch the batter take some practice swing on the PTS before predicting a home run. I sincerely hope it is at least a base hit, and not a foul ball or a strike out.
