Where in the game does it say that the latest patch has removed our Mundas Stone?
I don't think it should be required to read the forums to learn of gameplay changes.

It was no change in the gameplay, but a bugfix and you see the removal of your mundus stone when you look at your character sheet.
I think it's because they informed you about a new patch with a link to the patchnotes in the login screen. This forum is the official place for ZOS to inform you about changes/bugfixes etc they make.
It wasn't intended, that's why there was no notification.
The mundus should only have been removed for characters that had more than 1 boom without using the Twice Born Star set, as stated in the patch notes. Gina and the others seemed genuinely surprised when the update went live and we reported that all mundus' were removed.
I heard a whisper of my name....
This doesn't make sense. Something like this can drastically change the performance for each character/class you play. Not everyone comes to the forums to check up on patch notes. How were those players supposed to know to "check their character sheet" upon login?
Intended or not, the fact that this was something reported on PC, should have been communicated to console players. Keyword there, "Communicated". As in "Communication". It's not hard, at least, I don't think it is. I could be wrong. I've been known to be wrong.
Not that I should be surprised, but when did fixing a bug require creating more bugs? I'm not a developer, nor will I pretend to have any semblance of an idea of what's required, but what in the actual flying duck!?
Communication requires 2 sides...one side (ZOS) said what they did (official patch notes) the other side (you) didn't hear it....
But sure, it's not hard to read patch notes
Btw. IF it changes your gemaplay drastically, you would search why it has changed and lok at your character screen....and then you'll se that your mundus stone is missing.
We went through this on the PC, we all lost our Mundus stones. It is a small thing to put back, and if it removed the exploit, understandable.
However, they should tell people that the stone is being reset this time around as they knew it happened for the PC. Perhaps the patch had already been sent to the console people and no changes could have been made to it. And the patch is what drives the announcement at login. If that is the case, they need an alternative method of communicating these things.

I guess you can always count on the fanbois to put you in your place when it counts the most.
Look, stop being oblivious to the issue. I have no idea if PC has the luxury of being able to read patch notes in game (you know, like most other MMOs on PC have), however. Assuming you do, console doesn't. I, for one, regularly check the Patch Notes section, but not everyone does. Console doesn't have fancy addons that can quickly measure dps or healing via meters to instantly tell if something is off or if something is working as expected.
This "2 Sided Communication" thing you're talking about is nothing, but a biased answer from someone who can't stop riding the ZOS Carebear Train. The Patch Notes are only communicated in a way that forces individuals to visit the forums. It's an old and archaic way of communicating changes in the MMO world. Not everyone lives on their computers, can't say the same for the Fanboi Regime though.
Bottom line, it's not difficult to have the notes listed, in game, as several other games do. Hell, a Non-MMO game on Xbox One is doing that currently. That's new....and refreshing! No one has ever done that! /sarcasm

No, we don't see the patchnotes ingame. You guys can also read your patchnotes ~2 weeks before they go live on console...just read the pc patchnotes when they are published.

You're not getting it. Why can't you get it? It's not hard to understand.
That's the problem we're trying to point out. We, PC included, shouldn't have to visit a forum to read patch notes. Having them in-game would increase the QoL for a lot of gamers.
It was posted on the login screen information after they realized it affected more than the multiple mundus stone characters.
Sure, would be nice...but instead they link the patchnotes in the launcher/loginscreen (don't know how they do it on console) so you can get there with one mouseclick. If they publish them ingame, you would also have to do a mouseclick...this doesn't change that much
I can't play much atm. so I'm a lot on the forums. Normally if I had the capability and time, I would dedicate myself to be in the game and not read the forums - ever. No, we don't see the patchnotes ingame. On PC Mundus stone buffs list the same place as food and drink/ cake and long term buffs. Is it the same for console?
