What gear to craft for a vet 16 tank

What gear set should I craft myself for my Stam dk tank? I can craft 7 trait sets and am wondering what would be best for me. Also what traits I should aim for and my glyphs I need to snag.

I have tried google but maybe I'm not searching the right way so I figured I'd come here.

One of the all-time favored crafted tankset is Hist Bark and it requires only 4 traits. However some tanks dislike it, because you can slot Shuffle (medium armor skill) and gain the same benefit as Hist Bark's 5th bonus.

3 Footmans jewelry + 2 pieces of Footmans armor (v13-v14 dropped in DSA and vDSA, this set also drops a shield.)
2 Engine Guardian (monster set)
5 Hist Bark (craftable)

Answering your question is a bit complicated, as tanks use different gear depending on preferred playstyle. Some tanks just hold the block button and press taunt every now and then, other tanks cast shield and protection on their teams, other tanks do off healing or off damage, so they dress to fit their playstyle.

But remember to choose with your play style in mind and don't just blindly follow a build, use it more as a starting point to experiment from, but if you come to the same conclusions as a build you found then by all means. This one uses Hist Bark as its Crafted set, though if I could ever get all pieces I would flip it to the non crafted set Lunar Bastion.

I ended up looking around and crafted myself 4 piece Hist bark and 5 piece Hundings rage. With agility set for rings + neck.

My armor could probably be better and it honestly is probably on the low side but I don't know how I could take it up anymore.

If you're running with good DPS, Aggressive War Horn is such a wonderful ultimate. 2p Blood Spawn + 5p Tava's Blessing (you'll have to cast Shuffle for the Major Evasion) is a very good tank set for getting and casting ultimates. It's fantastic for 12-man trials tanking, and very good for 4-man content if you're with a good group.

But if you're not with good DPS (if you're PUG tanking), that War Horn is going to be wasted, and you'll likely be better with a setup that allows your tank to do a bit more DPS to help shore things up.

I either rock Shooting star or the...Armor skin one or whatever its called. Depending on if I think I may have to revive a person during a boss fight.

I use 5pce pariah,
5 piece histbark,
Engine Guardian helm and shoulders..

It all depends on how you tank.

As a tank you want to get your resistances as high as possible,
mitigation as high as possible too...

I run the sets above,
I also run them all heavy,

I have my sword and shield skill line maxed with all passives,
I have defensive posture on both my bars,
I also run evade/Shuffle/Immovable..
