    Yes please, make a video using one of the 19 counters against magicka templars hiding behind teammates while u're trying to get in melee combat as a stam class who cannot stack shields or spell resistances high enough to survive.

    Frozn, this happens to me every night. All I usually do is hit harness magicka. Problem solved. On my templar, I will occasionally use Purifying Ritual if other stuff is hitting me. When I'm feeling really adventurous, I will use toppling charge. If I am not on my templar and facing the attacker, I will use crushing shock. If instead I am trying to run away from the templar, I will use igneous/healing ward or Hardened depending on which class I am on.

    You're a stam DK. Instead of worrying about countering Jesus Beams, just play like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sotMe9gG8pc - you will then have the ability to one-shot a Jesus Beaming templar, all by yourself, and preemptively kill them ... using means that have far less means to counter than RD.

    I hope you know that this is not possible anymore.

    Update: Since some people do not actually read what has been said in this thread. I AM NOT calling for a nerf. I was simply stating that this ability is hitting way too hard. The intent was to bring up as discussion of the ability as a whole and others opinions. I've done some further testing and reading of what others have said and I believe my health was de synced when I was hit. I would like to see this ability re looked at and possibly not be dodgeable and also not be an channeled ability. The goal for the community should be balance. An un dodgeable execute that is ranged and hits extremely hard is not balance. Please be mature and respectful of other opinions.

    I got hit by this in pvp last night several times. No biggie. I enjoy the challenge. And thats what it really is, isnt it? A challenge.

    People are taking about two different things RD that is a channeled ability hitting hard and the exploit people are using that changes Radiant Destruction from a channeled ability into a single shot ability.

    People who have not been instantly kill from Full health by a 29k RD seems to think there is some that they can do to counter this exploit I believe this is what is causing the confusion.

    could not bother read it all, but did anyone know that jesus beam can be interupted? oh yes! not too op?

    Currently jesus beam sounds all fine, i am templar, i dont use it, but i see it, i interupt my targets and they go double wee tee fff??? so easy to counterplay them.

    If you die by a templar solo 1v1...and he opened up with radiant destruction and only used that skill, you have more issues at hand. At 3,850 spell power and 37k magicka, my tool tip value for radiant destruction is a measly 3k a second. Its not a fire and forget skill, you hit it and are slowed, can't cast anything else. 3k....a second is CRAP. That value can be reduced by resists, champ points, shields, blocking line of sighting. Now if three templar opened up on you at the same time with radiant destruction, they would be doing tops 10k a second. You would barely have time to counter, that sucks...but in the time that three templars could get three radiants on you, three sorcs could cast crystal drags six times on you, doing about 60k total damage. Your dead in that scenario too, soo...basically, if you run into three characters of any caliber, ur dead, unless you really know how to defend. This goes for ANY AND ALL DAMAGING SKILLS. Even executioner and impale. Doesn't matter the skill. Stop complaining about RD its not that powerful!

    Wanna complain about a templar ability? How about my 17k dark flare? Lets just say that dark flare tells sorcs to sit the *** down and stop streaking XD

    @AddictionX it's because your dots are not a channeled execution skill, but a regular damage skill.

    I understand the differences but my execution skills....they're also dodgable. To include the poison injection range execute Dot.

    Here is was is stange to me people are saying they are getting hit by RD at 40% health and its doing 20k damage instantly or more so this would mean their health had to be Atleast 20k at 30% and almost 80k at 100% I'm sorry but I haven't saw anyone with 80k health lately plus if your running 22k health and your at 50% get killed by RD and the recap says 20k how is this possible unless your exploiting some sort of health bug making your name tag say one amount of health when your running another the point is RD isn't hitting that hard the death recaps are wrong

    IMO, Templar in general are the most balanced class in ESO, minus radiant and dark flare. The most overbuffed classes would be NBs because of their passives and vast amount of skills they can use in pvp. Not far behind would be sorcs who need an adjustment in 2 ways, shields need to be reevaluated and then some form of decent stamina and magicka single target insta cast dps needs to be added.

    and the worst balanced has to be DKs by far. No mobility, most nerfs felt across the board and each update minus thieves guild is nerfed in one aspect or another.

    If radiant was adjusted to not start actually executing until %24 and below and have the range reduced to a max of 18m; and then simply reduce the range of dark flare the class would easily be %100 balanced in both pvp and pve.

    Yea most of of those counters people can not use 90% of the time sorry.. the main problem is see with Radiant is the range on it...
    I play a magicka temp also ...I have the best healing by far no comparison + free purge+ great in general damage +one of the best healing debuffs in the game+ best execute+ decent gap closer + great range stun+ since magicka benefits are in line for meteor and detination. The most frustrating thing for me and my magicka temp is theasy amount of CC without timers... but I do have purge...
    I would say we are in a very strong position atm a great toon for an average player :) I still find my self on my other toons most of the time with great frustration lol...

    How the heck did you resulted in "most balanced" while talking about magplars? They're most counterable class in pvp.

    Almost forgot: nerf magplars already, they OP.

    You are going to have to explain to me how keeping utterly impractical, sub-optimal, and inefficient skills such as Healing Ritual, Radiant Aura, and Eclipse while nerfing the damage and range of [only] the templar's bread and butter ranged skills to force it to fight at close range, while doing nothing to upgrade its dilapidated "house" that counts for defense is in any way "balanced." Because the quote you are posting and endorsing says just by these nerfs would make the class "100% balanced."

    And how is this "balanced" in a PvE sense? Templars are not top tier DPS as it is and these changes would lower their DPS and make it more difficult and dangerous to achieve.

    I get it, you hate RD, but it's hard not to believe your feelings toward this skill aren't clouding your overall judgement.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.
