This. i forget how many but on the other thread someone listed 19 counters or some crap. but that would require ruining their precious OP dps builds. lol
They keep posting these videos Alcast, Bella, etc. I wish i had the motivation. I would make a video showing the other person using one of the 19 counters, and wrecking the templar.

Yes please, make a video using one of the 19 counters against magicka templars hiding behind teammates while u're trying to get in melee combat as a stam class who cannot stack shields or spell resistances high enough to survive.
Frozn, this happens to me every night. All I usually do is hit harness magicka. Problem solved. On my templar, I will occasionally use Purifying Ritual if other stuff is hitting me. When I'm feeling really adventurous, I will use toppling charge. If I am not on my templar and facing the attacker, I will use crushing shock. If instead I am trying to run away from the templar, I will use igneous/healing ward or Hardened depending on which class I am on.
You're a stam DK. Instead of worrying about countering Jesus Beams, just play like thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sotMe9gG8pc - you will then have the ability to one-shot a Jesus Beaming templar, all by yourself, and preemptively kill them ... using means that have far less means to counter than RD.

1.6 radiant is back ZOS. This was 1 tick when i was at 40% health (read update below). Jesus beam is hitting waaaaaaaaay too hard. I dont understand how you fixed the ability in 1.7 and tweaked it for this update. Magicka templars are literally opening up with radiant destruction again. So sad

Update: Since some people do not actually read what has been said in this thread. I AM NOT calling for a nerf. I was simply stating that this ability is hitting way too hard. The intent was to bring up as discussion of the ability as a whole and others opinions. I've done some further testing and reading of what others have said and I believe my health was de synced when I was hit. I would like to see this ability re looked at and possibly not be dodgeable and also not be an channeled ability. The goal for the community should be balance. An un dodgeable execute that is ranged and hits extremely hard is not balance. Please be mature and respectful of other opinions.
If you die by a templar solo 1v1...and he opened up with radiant destruction and only used that skill, you have more issues at hand. At 3,850 spell power and 37k magicka, my tool tip value for radiant destruction is a measly 3k a second. Its not a fire and forget skill, you hit it and are slowed, can't cast anything else. 3k....a second is CRAP. That value can be reduced by resists, champ points, shields, blocking line of sighting. Now if three templar opened up on you at the same time with radiant destruction, they would be doing tops 10k a second. You would barely have time to counter, that sucks...but in the time that three templars could get three radiants on you, three sorcs could cast crystal drags six times on you, doing about 60k total damage. Your dead in that scenario too, soo...basically, if you run into three characters of any caliber, ur dead, unless you really know how to defend. This goes for ANY AND ALL DAMAGING SKILLS. Even executioner and impale. Doesn't matter the skill. Stop complaining about RD its not that powerful!
Wanna complain about a templar ability? How about my 17k dark flare? Lets just say that dark flare tells sorcs to sit the *** down and stop streaking XD

There was a list on the first page of over 20 counters to RD.
As usual for you Frozn, it's a learn to play issue.
