    The big missconception here is that people ignorantly say Templars are weak or the weakest in pvp. As far as the class goes it is probably the most well balanced class minus breath of life hitting way to hard and jabs having that stupid snare at the end.

    Radiant destruction just needs to be dodgable again. It brings it in line with the other executes but still has the opportunity to do what it was intended to do... Execute.

    It was more or less worthless when it was dodgable given that it didn't break the channel. This is why most Templar did not even bother to slot it.

    Don't waste your breath arguing. Typical forum bias.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Pretty sure a class that 1 shots an entire group, an organized group at that, would be the best. Mag DKs got nerfed for a year for doing that.

    This is madness and a witch hunt with all kinds of erroneous statements being thrown around.

    Yes magicka nbs can excel at a very specific form of ganking. If you actually fight one of those builds in a straight up fight they will fall over. Where my magicka templar build can excel in all situations.

    im only going to be playing my one shot vicious death nightblade in pvp from now on. because playing any other class means u get 1vRD'd by 5 templars. this is what the game has come to. i dont want to have to play it all the time, but on any other class i just end up rage quitting. there is no effective counter to radiant. people will say bash it. try bashing it in a fight with any more than 1 person. u will be dead before u get the opportunity. even line of sight doesnt break the tick instantly

    I agree that cloak and VD are pretty OP. But, how do the other classes (norm build) and armor set bonuses do against any other five players/classes hitting them at once with nearly any offensive skill (not even to mention any offensive skill multiplied by five players over 2.8 seconds?) Yeah, I suppose that he average sorc build also has a chance against five hits - have you rolled a sorc yet?

    I would rather be hit with five RD rather than five crit charge/heavy attack/ult or five spambush or five CF or five snipes or...

    I haven't pvp'ed all that much over the last few months (due to the current state of the game.) But, for the last few days I have spent several hours pvp'ing (on my stam DK) and RD is the least of my worries. Hell, when I get hit by RD or multiple RD at least I know what is happening and I don't get perma CC'ed or insta killed.

    How to counter Wrecking blow spam :

    1) Shield stack
    2) Block
    3) Roll through
    4) Use CCs (Streak, Fossilize, Jabs, Fear, etc)
    5) Use invisibility

    How to counter Radian Destruction spam :

    1) Shield stack
    2) Interrupt (Bash)
    3) Use CCs (Streak, Fossilize, Jabs, Fear, etc)

    Fair enough.

    If a templar decides to go melee range on you with toppling charge and sweep, you have WB, and should win.

    If a templar decides to stay at ranged, slot poison arrow and you just shut down all of their dps (including DF), completely, while still doing your own. Countering RD is easier than countering WB, you're just choosing not to - which is fine, that's how balance works. You make choices for what build and skills to use, but asking for nerfs to the weakness of your decisions is another thing altogether. Most of the people I see complaining about RD are doing so because they can no longer dodge it and maintain an overpowered stam build from last patch.

My argument was regarding a situation where I'm outnumbered.

    Now that everyone and their mother and their sisters are running RD, it makes it very hard to even consider going in melee with someone during a large scale fight, because you know that by the time you get out of RD range, you will be dead.

Or a glass cannon sorc popping frags and curses? Your gripes are not being able to 1vX any more on overtuned builds that let you do it last patch and are honing in on templars because they're suddenly using one of their skills again since it can't be dodged and isn't completely useless any more.

    Everything you just said can be countered easily. RD cannot be countered in a large scale fight. You either roll range, you run in a 24men ballgroup relying on massive heals and the lag you create or you siege in the back.

    As usual for you Frozn, it's a learn to play issue.

    I would forfeit those "over 20" counters for it to be dodgable again. If it worked at say 25 percent hp that would be fine, great shield stacking counter tho lmao

    They keep posting these videos Alcast, Bella, etc. I wish i had the motivation. I would make a video showing the other person using one of the 19 counters, and wrecking the templar.

    But no! Focus on the tt value and the target standing still!

    How about you have some with executioner spam that while someone spams RD. Counters authorized.

    Lets see who will win. Bit no that would be a fair test and wouldnt confirm thier biased opinions!

    Dont need to. thats not the argument. I was referring to these silly videos they made that proove nothing.

    If you dont have spell resistance high enough chante your cps or armor. lol.

    I am sorry those cheese stam dk builds have counters now. i dont know what to tell you. I have a imperial stam dk too. She does just fine.

    if you want to argue about major fights then hmm. let me think. How about your ranged users target their ranged users.

    As previously stated by others to you there shouldnt be one build that is superior to all others.

    And also your last statement is ludicrous. You can srack shields against them. Igneous, which is weak i agree, and harness magicka, which is OP as heck this partch. Frankly anyone not running Harness in this patch is nuts.

    Frozn, this happens to me every night. All I usually do is hit harness magicka. Problem solved. On my templar, I will occasionally use Purifying Ritual if other stuff is hitting me. When I'm feeling really adventurous, I will use toppling charge. If I am not on my templar and facing the attacker, I will use crushing shock. If instead I am trying to run away from the templar, I will use igneous/healing ward or Hardened depending on which class I am on.

    You're a stam DK. Instead of worrying about countering Jesus Beams, just play like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sotMe9gG8pc - you will then have the ability to one-shot a Jesus Beaming templar, all by yourself, and preemptively kill them ... using ways that have less means to counter than RD.
