Still relevant, since AFAIK 1 account can still take up 8 places in the leaderboards. It's particularly relevant now with the revamped weeklies rewards.

I agree with this for all weeklies. I know people are getting 8 characters on the leaderboard leaving ranks with 1 or maybe two characters, eliminating up to 11 others from getting a reward. This whole system needs reworked.
