    The normal movement speed and the major expedition buff are certainly broken, there's no way Im just as fast now while sprinting with a speed buff.

    Also if you hold sprint on your horse the speed barely increases, especially if the terrain isnt completely flat. Its like a less severe version of the bug where you would stop while sprinting if there was a pebble on the road.

    I also ran around with the typical proxy + tether combo. Killed 250something people in 2 hours a few days ago, dying three times. Wiped some yellow guild ball or other twice solo and took Bleaks with 3 of my guys against like 18 EP with a solid siege defense.

    Then I bought some coldfire trebs and ate dinner while shooting some EP zerg from on top of the BRK lumbermill resource tower. Easiest AP of all.

    Then I got bored and went back to my staff build, which I love for its inherent counterplay and outplay potential. It has tons of sustained pressure with swallow and layered dots, but it can also burst with heavy + meteor + assassin's will + agony. It doesn't use VD, takes skill, and is a challenge to play. It's I find it quite fun.

    Later, while I rode my horse, someone had the audacity to shoot arrows at me. My cunning mount shaat in his path to snare him and we escaped unharmed.

    Until, that is, I arrived at Fort Ash. After knocking on the door and demanding honour, some peasant poured FLAMING OIL on me.

    Hate this patch.

    Snares and roots everywhere (heck, I run speed immovable pots on my mag Templar and it feels like they do nothing now), getting freakin floppy-fish by pretty much every knock-down, double CCs aplenty, lag feels even more unbearable than in previous patch (even when I have low ping -low for what I usually run with 250ish - it still feels laggy and unresponsive), and the list can go on.

    It feels harder and harder to find small-scale... :( If not for the lovely people I have met in PvP, I think I would have been done with this game.

    I'm thinking about cancelling my sub. :/

    when will people finally get it? Overexcessive spam of aoes is making the ping jump and fps drop,

    aoe> every single thing that hits multiple target, including siege weapons. When you got 20vs20 siege going ofc its laggy when there is siege spammers, heal spring spammers, purge users, siege bubble users etc and then the ninja squads that hit with their aoe burst same time with siege users the attackers etc.

    Trueflame? cp> resource management so good that you just spam skillllllllllllssssssss and lagg the server to oblivioun with raid or the bug raid. the funny part with bug raids tho> they have tendency to not siege since they either save ap for some reason OR they have no clue what to do. for example> 40 covenants at nikel> 2 ppl siege and rest run around like headless chicken so scared of the countersiege and ninjas etc.

    Azura star? no cp> you either have resource build or minmax build which latter build is favored still> so people can use some amount of skills, then they burn their resources. Azura star pc eu i have noticed that there is on each side only few healers who are set to be resource builds, so not that many heal/support spammers. So when we have either the aldmeri emperor running his vicious death squad or ebons organized raid, there is rarely anyone else using aoes except siege weapons.

    Just have look at it boys and girls> have 1-2h raid at trueflame or ebonyblade where you arent first of all equipping vicious death. leave detonation off from bar and steel tornado. just by those 3 tings off from your setup when running as raid and you might be able to notice difference.

    Its just real shame that when people blame each other> they rarely look into mirror to realize that they are exacly doing the same thing to contribute for the lagggggggg.

    Zergs, the massive amount of casuals is just excuse for people to make small scale units and aoe blobbers or ballerinas to kill them so that lagg would go away.

    At azura, we the casual warriors have so much fun when small scalers, aoe blobbers and ballerinas stay away. everyone is happy for fighting 1-2h to capture keep, remember, medieval time, keeps didnt get taken in hours. they took days or weeks or even months. so when casuals vs casuals have fun people should be satisfied that they are keeping themself busy in their huge battles.

    Unusually enough, i have been talking with the both enemy factions casual leaders, and both of them admit that so much better without the previous azura action or current trueflame action. Sadly Big boss has me on ignore list or has set himself offline so i cant talk to him to ask his insight into this situation that is allowing us to have fun.

    That's because they don't. Immovable counters stuns etc., not roots/snares. The speed buff from it is 30%, the speed debuff on most snares is 30-70% so you will usually be slowed anyway.

    I know what Immovable does. :wink: I guess my wording wasn't the best and it was in context with how buggy some of the hard CCs feel now.
    As for movement speed - magicka classes cannot afford to sprint everywhere if they need to disengage. So the reduced movement speed (default run, no sprint, which people have noticed to be an issue) coupled with reduced Major Expedition Buff makes everything feel slower. Even if they fix the slowdown on default movement speed, you will still be slower with major expedition if you don't sprint. And add on top of that all the snares.

    Also - if we are talking about skill-less gameplay from blowing away all the soft CCs with 2 abilities, we should also look at the reverse and how cheesy it is to just sit far away and spam bombard. And now think about what, say, a magicka DK can do in this situation when someone spams bombard on them. Roll? :D GG

    Heck, even as Templar it's annoying because while you have to constantly purify it (hence waste a global cooldown on doing no damage), the bombard spammer soft CCs you AND has an ability that (IMO) does too much damage for its utility.

    Well i can answer that for myself since i just happen to play a heavy armor magicka DK. Chain, talons to return the favor, meteor, fossilize, talons, breath, embers, volatile armor, talons, whip 2x, etc. If i happen to have eruption slotted, then that too (70% snare, if they roll out of it hit them with another, it does more damage than impulse)

    Chains ignore roots. And i use chains to close the gap with whoever i want to attack anyway. So i basically ignore his 'perma root' by default. I'll just drop an eruption on his rock to tag him and get AP after someone else kills him (a static, unmoving target in PvP? Life expectancy counted in seconds)

    VD should just have a (insert number)% chance proc on it. If its not guaranteed every time, people might be less inclined to rely on it, since you have to give up better over all stats from other sets to run it. The execute behavior it seems to show at times needs to be fixed as well.

    I don't think the problem is that players "rely on it". The rare time I play these days, I always go in with a plan to use a different set, but always fall back to vd because there are condensed groups everywhere. It's the right tool for that job.

    I don't agree vd should be a % proc because then it will lose its value as a deterrent. I don't like that vd is the counter for stacked players, but it is, so I'm going to use it.

    I've been mostly solo fighting in large fights since 2.3 was released and I think I've died to vd maybe three times that I can clearly recall. It's not super hard to avoid.

    I don't think that it's an OP set because it's bonus is situational. Spread out, and that bomber is now an easy kill. You don't even need to spread out that much.

    I must admit it's pretty enjoyable to see all those purge springs marathon runners complaining about slows. Sorry boys, not going back to purge maneuver spam while going inside a breach anytime soon. You either pick to spam purge and spring or to run fast, can't have it all.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
    • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
    • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
    • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
    • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration
    • Fix speed bug (abilities locked)
    • Introduce dynamic population
    • Lower population cap by 20%
    • Add Snare Immunity potions
    • Bring resurrection sickness
    • Fix character desync
    • Fix cc breaking bug
    • Fix gap closer bug
    • Fix health desync
    • Fix combat bug
    • Fix streak bug
    • Fix server lag

    You should apply similar logic toward your hate of Radiant Destruction: Bring purge to counter it or don't. Sorry you can't have it all.

    Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

    DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

    I counter Radiant Destruction with 55 points in Elemental Defender, 20 points in Thick Skinned, 10 points in Spell Shield, 60points in Resistant, 7 pieces impen, Shuffle, Hardened Armor, Igneous Shield, Vigor and Rally. Now you expect to be able to heal, purge, maneuver while rolling over pugs with VD and prox?
