8. the battle continues.
true but i spent alot more time playing eso then surfing ***...
point of the matter is that female sensuality sells.
eso wants money
nuff said?
Females aren't just for your amusement, we're actual people and we also have wallets ESO might like to attract.
Any costumes ESO makes I hope are tasteful and not at all like TERA.
i live in a politically correct world, im from norway.
we were the third country in the world to give women right to vote, we have a female prime minister and more then half the party leaders are women.
i am not out to objectify women, demean them in any way, shape or form.
i am actually a huge woman fan, i love you guys! you are candy for my eyes and food for thought.
so what i am actually asking is not sexist, it is not mean or degrading in any way.
what it actually is...is.....
the biggest deity damned compliment you could ever get.
It's great you like women and all...but be aware most women don't want to be eye candy only...and when we're made of pixels and just in an avatar form it's good to know we have the same standing as the male avatars next to us, and aren't being treated differently.
I have never put one thought into the standing of any of my characters...nor do I care.

That's great, but I find if I play a game that's gone into pervert territory, I just don't play it as it's clearly not designed for my eyes, it's designed for something like the OP. And I don't want to be around those people - and I really don't think their mind is on the game.
Then dont play it.If their mind is on the game or not shouldnt be your concern.Unless you are grouped.

I don't think you're getting it - the whole game would be ruined for me with a tacky art style pasted all over my character. And being made to play a girly girl all coquetteish and pleasing to the eye instead of just being another player. No thank you. I love Elder Scrolls art and that's part of the reason I'm here.
I like attractive things, but not tasteless things and I think we can see that's what the OP is requesting. At least those of us paying attention to what he's saying both overtly and covertly and not just throwing up a defense for him in an attempt to seem like "one of the boys"

If what other people want in their character creation isnt your thing and you dont want to play ESO because of it,..fine.No problem, but dont force your politically correct views onto others.
(not said to be rude)
ps,
If you dont like what you term as "pervert territory" stay away from Tera. LOL!!

Not saying to make the game 1000% real but.... function > fashion. Like it's winter time what you think be better to wear non-slip boots or fancy shoes ? Yet some people wear those shoes and then complain how it is so cold and how their always slipping on ice.
And if your still persistence about it then it needs to be equal like so
I'd say it's not ultimately about function, but rather about objectification. If it was about function why is fashion not okay for armor, but acceptable weaponary. Most of the weapons in ESO are terrible from a functionality stand point. They'd be too heavy to be wielded properly, and the rounded rather than oval handles would obscure edge alignment in combat as just two examples.

Now with that said many women in the world love to dress sexy, and thats really nice of course, but its nice that ESO has taken a more respectable approach for actual women that play the game.
And besides when u have a libido like mine u dont need any extra help.
im a guy but i make women chars because if i am to spend ungodly amounts of time in a game i want a female butt bouncing on my screen and not a male one.
so, i've done some testing and the best crafted costume is a medium armor bosmer outfit because it doesnt have anything obstructing the butt. its a nice view.
almost every other armor has buttflaps or armor plates or some other crap to obstruct my view.
now im using the v6 gift costume daedric something or other which is nice but i would pay real money to get better costumes.
make it happen.

Actually compared to some real life weapons most weapons in ESO their pretty spot on sch as say nordic weaponry. How they are designed Bethesda/ZOS designed it of Celtic, Scottish, Irish, and all those style while say the Dunmer style such as the swords and daggers look based of the Kris sword.
Like yes some of the gear seems over the top but it was all mostly based on some real life stuff. Plus despite media portraying some of stuff such as greatswords being these giant bulky heavy weapons of mass destruction greatswords are actually alot lighter and smaller than people think. Their normaly between 4ft/1,1/2m to 6ft/2m tall and at most weight between 7-10 pounds the largest greatsword ever used was I think 14ft/3,1/2m and weight I think nearly 20 pounds.
