Don't lower the AP required to level Assault and Support skill lines

    Why does it even matter? Why force people to play in a zone that takes more than 2 seconds to even cast an ability and that is if your ability works. Alliance ranks have nothing to do with skill it just means you've endured an area of the game that no one should be forced to play.....And this is coming from someone who only played in Cyrodill until a month ago.

    My solution would be to have the passives unlock at the same AP per rank and have the skills unlock how they're on PTS.

    But yeah I've poured so much into pvp just for a few skills that some cry babies cba to unlock. It's a joke. I expect my level to go up by 20 ranks to compensate.

    Also for the record all the cry babies you're going to be gravely dissapointed with magika det. It's not actually powerful or good at all in pve.

    I'm pretty much like *whatever* about it.

    I just don't know why anyone cares at all - do they really need people to PVP so badly they are happy to have PVP noobs they can easily one shot? If so, where's the challenge there? No one who doesn't plan to PVP ongoing is gonna make all the gear to make themselves have any survivability.

    I mean how is that even really PVP at all if you can just 1 shot everyone?

    I think let whoever want get their skills and just go back to wherever.

    I was peeved about the monster heads/hats but then decided *who cares* let them just buy em and f o back to pvp land if that makes them happier.

    I mean what difference does it even make.

    lol, like they're not making it easier for PvPers to get PvE stuff with the new merchant, we all know it's mostly for PvPers that never want to step their foot outside cyrodiil.

    At this point Im kinda like, Fudge It, put it all in the gd crown store and be done with it. Everything, all of it. All skill lines ALL of it. Why? So no one has to work for a damn thing. Cause thats what it seems this game is coming to.

    Ill say it again, didnt ask for your stupid helms and shoulders to be sold in our land so quit with that argument. They can keep the crap. What we wanted was viable stuff for pvp. Something pvp related to spend our AP on. But ZOS decided to be lazy and tried to throw a bone.

    I don't know. Man, I ain't got time for dungeons or actually care about undaunted passives. I was just upset, and thinking about the PVPers who do want that skill line maxed.

    Yeah, because when they screw up all the skills to "rebalance" them, that is because of PvEers.

    It makes sense to chance the progression on alliance skills because it takes way longer than any other skill lines. It isn't at all proportionate. This makes even less sense in the PvP context considering how many people here complain incessantly about "balance".

    Omg did you even read the patch notes? All these nerfs are because of the pvp whiners and ruining the game for not for just pvp but for everyone.

    The game is in a state where it needs to open up for players pickung up on the game. I feel the change is needed to get new players an easier entry to content where things like caltrops or magica detonation are mandatory for certain builds.

    It does not devalue the achievement of having it earned the "hard" way prior to these changes.

    As I said in another post same topic I think your first toon should get to assault 10 the current way. All successive toons can be by this faster way. This allows you to earn assualt support 10 the hard way. this skill line was already nerfed once. You cannot encourage ppl to get in the game and get everything in the game that You and I have acquired over 22 months or longer in a couple of weeks. It will encourage rolling new toons as well.

    Then let's consider that meteor is now unreflectable, so it will most likely be everyone's favorite ultimate again. So imagine how fast most players are going to get ultimate and imagine all the meteors that can having nothing done about them.
    I'm glad meteor is back, i really missed the constant screen shaking. But then again, i live in CA ...

    Yeah, I don't get the logic that your achievement gets cheapened. Achievements are all about that moment when you get it.

    It seems to me that it would take months of gameplay before caltops matters.

    "Mandatory"? I don't think that word means what you think it means. I mostly play PvE. I only very recently got magicka detonation. Yes, it's a very fun toy to play with, but it doesn't change my build at all, and it hasn't allowed me to do things in PvE that I hadn't been able to do so before; I had already accomplished things like vICP speed run and vWGT no-death before getting det. Most of the PvE'ers that I play with don't have caltrops or det, and they do end-game content just fine without them. Vigor is arguably the only skill that might qualify as "mandatory" (for high-end solo play, at least), but that's already pretty easy to get after they moved it down to Assault 5.

    I applaud this change...now if only they could separate pvp and pve skill trees completely so when you pvp you choose the pvp profile and switch to the pve one when you do pve.

    If a build your grp needs you to run requires detonation/caltrops it´s mandatory. It may not be for completing content. It is certainly for specific activities like timeruns for trials or other max dps runs.
    That´s why i mentioned certain builds.

    It's not really a "F U" tho, it's just bringing them in line with the other skill lines in terms of time invested, and the monster vendor can easily be said to be a "F U" to the people that earned their helms in the dungeons, just as you think the AP reduction is for people that PvP.

    Don't make pve gear available for purchase, especially not for alliance points.

    PvP gear is available for gold. Why is this a problem?

    They should lowerer it so its about the same effort to lvl as any other skill line... It was a bad idea to have it that freaking high to begin with... and for you PVPers that thing ZOMG I DONT WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE THE PASSIVES... QQ... Maybe they should just nerf them... maybe they arent balanced to begin with... so having they time wall between you PVP no lifers and the rest of the community, and giving you a large advantage over the rest of the community, which is more of the issue. JUST SAYIN.

    I don't get why PvPers moan about the undaunted skill line, yes it might be a grind for the passives but at least you can get to rank 5 fairly quickly unlike the alliance war skill lines.

    Also in PvP the rate at which you earn AP hugely depends on how well the rest of your faction is doing, you're not going to earn much being stuck at the gates for example.
