Yes so that's why a lot of people like those 4 streamers ask for changes that will bring skills back to the table.Like the removal of AOE caps.Skills should mean way more than it does not that's not fun play its boring.Taemethius wrote: »Just want to point out am pretty sure non of them have Max CP.Their close but that's about it.I know @Sypher doesn't unless but he is close the same hasn't watched @FENGRUSH streams in about 2-3 weeks been busy but I don't think he has it either.Which might have changed King Richard doesn't have it either I believe but been mainly watching his BnS streams so he might have gotten it and I just didn't know .Game looks amazing thinking of building a rig for that and Black Desert.Taemethius wrote: »sirrmattus wrote: »And why should people who play eso for a living represent the whole eso community. If you pvp 2-3 hours a day you are definitely not as qualified as someone who "plays eso for a living"
you also said that like you know what you are talking about lol, king richard has a job :P Im pretty sure fengrush, sypher and lefty do as well....
but even if they didn't have a job outside of playing eso, they would still be more qualified to talk about the balance seeing as all of their time would be spent playing eso...
would you want someone who flies planes 2-3 hours a day flying your jet at the airport or the guy that flies them all the time everyday?
Silly goose your missing the point. Just because the people mentioned in the op had all the time to max cp and smash on groups of noobs with far less cp doesn't make them a expert on anything . Ask deltia. About all his wonderful builds.
Those people were all products of maxed cp and that is it. Any half with wit 3600 cp could kill a huge group or make a " special" build lol. The. Max cp made them " gods" not the actual gameplay.
My point is that you don't have to have Max CP to wreck players these guys are really good players and is it wrong that they can take on 1v10 no if they play better than those 10 players they should win every time and not be handicapped for being better players.
I agree with not being punished for being good.
As for the max cp. a lot of the top players were well into the thousands of cp before the cap and a few are maxed.

True but, where are these small group leads and top tier guild leads and pug wranglers? Where is their podcast? Why haven't they spoken up? Probably because Cyrodiil is 300% better when you are running in full groups all the time. Their issues are few and far between compared to someone who wants to do more than follow a crown and mash buttons.
I don't get people. It is obvious that they complete forget Cyrodiil was designed to be a Warzone, not an arena. While you got to enjoy it small scale/solo, it's nice and the devs understand that and working on a place where you can do just that.
Cyrodiil was meant to be a place where large groups clash, where skilled players can take command and lead their group/faction to victory. Take a close look at the Alliance War skills, there is a reason why they are all support or aoe skills. The zerg is not the problem, the lag it creates is; that's what the devs need to fix. 30 vs 30 should be welcomed in Cyrodill with a smooth gameplay.
Those streamers, while I enjoy the way they play at times, do nothing for the war and only play to show their skills on stream going solo. I'm happy they will get the battlegrounds they demand, but the devs should not listen to them and take away what Cyrodiil has.
But please ZOS, for the love of God, FIX THE LAG!!!!
I agree that cyro is meant for large scale PvP - entirely in fact. I dont expect to fight those full raids alone either. Im more often than not in groups so - Im not sure why youd say we all dont do group play. I had always led a 4-8 man group through release and early game. Everyone from my group has since quit the game largely due to AOE caps and performance problems... so again, with you on that one.
Here's a clip of PvP from a couple weeks ago fighting large scale PvP:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI5x_Qy2uds
Notice how he didn't mention anyone quitting over the cp cap lol.
Is this asking too much? King Richard, Fengrush, sypher, Lefty_Lucy have basically laid out how to fix this games pvp and make it more enjoyable for everyone. Can these items be implemented? You can find them in the We Are ESO broadcast, among other outlets, can you please just listen to them?

All of them quit before a champion system was even announced actually. There was a lot of good gameplay that existed well before the champion system, lots of patches to get the game where it was when you started.
So youre speaking about a whole bunch of stuff you really dont know about. Additionally, the stuff you made up about CP is laughable. Of the 4 streamers, I think I was the only one at the 500 CP mark when that got put in. There was nobody capped with 3600 CP in the game, and less than a handful over 2000. The amount that ranged over 1000 was even pretty low, something like 20 - and only a couple were known players in PvP (lots of PVE grinders too).
Found something old Im in - July 2014. Been killing it in ESO for awhile - so youll have to find something else:
www.twitch.tv/archon210/c/4717250
Storytime: Months ago when I was a little MMO nooblet interested in playing the game I went on Twitch, watched a rando guy play the game, asked him a couple questions about it and whether I should buy it. He was positive about ESO and suggested I did. So I thus bought ESO. His recommendation SOLD it for me. If he was in any way negative about it I might have put my money elsewhere. Fast forward a couple months and I am really happy he recommended it, I love this game - its really beautifully made and I've made a ton of great friends on here, and yes I will continue playing it for the foreseeable future. Happily Ever After
But here's the thing: Saying that these guys/girls 'are not ESO' is uber /facemeetspalm for me. It's really simple: ppl trust streamers that bring in 100's+ views nightly, therefore the pvp streamers need to be listened to or at least communicated to more often, because right now if I was a newbie interested in ESO and I were to go on any of the top streamers channels I'd probably end up playing Tetris instead
Have any of you naysayers in this thread even read the chat in the streamers channels? These are some ppl that I see in game like at least 4+ hours a day, ALL complaining about the same ***. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
It boils down to this. It doesn't really matter whether you are a fan of Feng's Danger Zone or Lefty Lucy being a chair or not: I just personally think that it is in ESO's best interests to not ignore any of their wide variety of players of course, but especially not those that are a public face of some kind to the game, because the way I see it is that these are respected and good players, that are more often than not listened to by the community - obviously not all of you feel this way, as you have made OH SO very obvious in this thread XD
And yeah, I studied marketingLily out
cazlonb16_ESO wrote: »Can't we just all agree on the fact that we all hate the lag and it needs to be gone? Even if means we have to go away from the advertised large scale battle?
No, we can't. If I want small scale or 1vs1 I'll go play a game made for these kind of fights. Large scale battles are the entire point and the only appeal of the PvP in ESO.
So you prefer the lag? Because the game can definitely not handle the large scale battles. That's the sad truth. I'd love to have epic 200vs200 battles around a keep. It doesn't work. The game crashes, lags, doesn't work.
Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »Streams and all those players do not speak for any one. Streamer do not in any way know whats good for the game and if they even do they only want the changes that suite them and not the community.
#Streamers are not ESO.
How's that for a title.
Yolokin_Swagonborn wrote: »I have been playing since beta and agree with MOST of what Sypher/Fengrush/Lefty/King say.
- They ARE ESO.
- They listen to the PvP community.
Although we may all have different ideas on how to balance the classes, we agree on all the major points.
- AOE caps need to go - Completely. Not reduced. COMPLETELY REMOVED.
- The mini-stun/silence on gap closer needs to go - Completely. No reduced by 10%. COMPLETELY REMOVED.
- Bugs and broken abilities need to be fixed in weeks not months.
There are tons of other small things but those are the big ones.
As for the people trying to smear these streamers, I have read their forum posts. Most of them are cries for nerfs based on not understanding how this game functions or being unwilling to adapt to a build/playstyle that would give them more success.
Sorry guys, most of our PvP community stands behind WE ARE ESO. Not all for sure, but most. The ones doing the most mudslinging are people are the REAL vocal minority that I rarely see in pvp, and when they are, they die to basic things then cry for nerfs.
