Please, Nerf Crystal fragments!!!!! (UPDATE)

This ability as been spammed like hell for almost a year and it crits almost 10- 16k in cyrodiil. Please nerf this ability.

For those who say CF can be dodged or blocked, well I tell you that you can't do it when they are in a GRP but in 1v1 situation there is a slight possibility to win or apply dodge roll to avoid there attacks provided they don't use their OP move( daedric mine+Endless Fury+Critical Surge+ Crystal fragments).

Crystal fragments can be said as a spammable ability because it almost reaches that state where you can cast it every time by using the OP move. Just use any sorc ability for just 1or 2 sec and then you get your OP CF. But what make CF worst is that it's a range Very high DMG compared to WB.

For example, a sorc as can be high up the tower and can cast their OP move but a Stam sorc can only use Critical surge and WB ,thus resulting a possibility of dying instant by a skilled enemy player or mobs.

So, those who say L2P or its easy to avoid their attacks, either have not played Player vs Mob players or are Sorc themselves.

Lastly, NERF CRYSTAL FRAGMENT, Please Zemimax.

Having played as a sorc and against sorcs, it's darn hard to land a C.Frag against someone who knows what he's doing. Keep watching derm hands and prepare to block / dodge / shield up when it's shiny.

It's only a problem when you're being kited by 2 sorcs hopping around like rabbits, stacking shields and flinging frags at you. It's not really the abilities fault. It's fine.

Crystal Fragments can't be "spammed"... it needs a proc. Otherwise, you're forced to hard-cast it, which is easily interruptible. On top of all that, the stamina builds which dominate PvP dodge Frags all the time.

If you want to complain about something, complain about Wrecking Blow, which CAN be spammed and CAN'T be interrupted.

It has not been spammed, because it is not a spammable ability. It has a very obvious cast and is only an instant cast by chance, which also isn't considered spamming in my book.

Get over it. It's the only damaging class ability that we really have that is worth using besides Overload maybe, but that's an ultimate anyway.

Look people, the players that are good in PVP are good.

Stop asking for a nerf, those good players in pvp would wreck most people even if they fought you with only a weapon equipped, and nothing more.

Any sorc hard casting crystal frags is a dead sorc against a competent player. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but the problem is with your lack of awareness and knowledge. Learn and improve rather than whining for a nerf.

Additional note: against players that actually know their stuff, I end up doing more damage with Velocious curse, since it can't be blocked nor dodged.

Sounds like the problem is being jumped by a group of Sorcs, not Frags.

WB has a "cast time" yet it still spammed and isn't there a morph of CF that can insta cast it? Sounds like CF can be spammed pretty easily.

Look not saying its OP but some skills that have "cast times" really don't and can be spammed alot easier than players think thanks tot eh broken mechanic ZOS needs to just fix already animation cancellation. Cause I have ran across pleanty of sorcs who have done nothing but frags frags and more frags and they were putting them off pretty fast. Luckily I did have my as they complain about "flappy wings" but magicka goes so far on a stamina user.

PS stamina user do not dominate PVP. Sure there was that tiny time after 1.6 stamina finally became a good thing but ZOS immeatly took it away after they got flooded by magicka users QQ about it.

Leave the sorc alone, I love mine. Templars need a lot of work and the STA sorc could use some work as well.

Yes let's nerf one of the only good damage abilities the sorc has even though it can't be spammed, it is the only class without an instant cast spammable ability,

Why are people are asking for nerfs? Yes crystal frags hits hard IF it hits, and that's a big if, first you need to get a proc, then you need to actually hit a player with it, it's easy to dodge/ reflect, I've been on both sides of this, I can't remember the amount of times I've fired of a frag only to have to do a hasty dodge roll as it's been sent back at me.

Seriously people really need to stop asking for nerfs when they die to something,

Yes, it can be blocked. 1.5 was over 1 year ago, my friend. It is blockable since 1.6. Curse is poor since then

Walking around Wrothgar last night, I could help but notice the sheer number of Vamp Sorcerers.

Balance might need to be addressed. I tried the Vet Maelstrom with my Dragon Knight and failed on Round 6 or 7. I looked at the leaderboard, and 1 DK in all three alliances completed it.

Cfrags and WB are totally different. WB is short range, can't be interrupted by bash/abilities, can't be reflected and the cast will cancel if you move out of the cone. Cfrags can be bashed, reflected, and interrupted by several abilities that are meant to do so (like venom arrow). Not only that, but bash hits *hard* when you interrupt a hard cast. On my NB 1h/S setup, I have had bash crit over 10k in PVP against a sorc who decided it was a good idea to "spam" cfrags.

If a sorc has good positioning and you have bad situational awareness, they can absolutely rip you apart by hard casting frags. That doesn't mean it's a broken ability, it just means you didn't do anything about them blowing you up.

WB can be spammed because it can't be interrupted. That's not the case for Crystal Frags.

But regardless it still can be spammed and as I also said alot of stuff most likely also including CF can be animation canceled that's how alot of stuff is spammed which proves that ZOS needs to fix it other wise QQ threads like this will just continue to pop up.

Also @ZOS do the right fix and remove animation cancellation and not just a blanket patch like with the problem with immovable.

Any skill can be "spammed" by the very loose definition you are using.

If you keep running into the same person sure. I've honestly not seen many sorcs, and while grinding some exp in some dungeons I mostly see nb's, either stamina ones spamming steel tornado or magicka ones with sap.
