Am I loosing the plot :)

I seem to be having issues, is it me or is there something wrong?

I can attack a group of about three NCP's and take them down pretty quick, I then move onto the next group, same type and I spam the same skills as before but this time they seem well hard to take down? I get a feeling I am not doing much damage then all of a sudden the target stands still I can no longer attack and a few seconds later the target just drops dead?

I am using acid spray as my main AOE.

The official answer would be "Have you tried disabling all your addons and restarting your router?"

The unofficial answer would be "Bubbles the server hamster fainted again".

They did recently upgrade the server to run on 2 hamsters. However, there are occasional issues:

I get this happening frequently... in DCUO they explained that it was 'dropped packets'- when the environment stops interacting but the player can still move around until either you abruptly find yourself dead (because in the background the environment was whooping your a$$), the opposite (whatever you were attacking is now dead)... or you find yourself booted to the sign-in screen. I have found this happening more and more often since the update which gets very frustrating and tends to happen more often during times when the player population is higher- particularly on weekends and weeknights.
