    It's a good thing I didn't stay playing ESO for the drops in the game. The rates on them is extremely poor and when you finally do get a decent piece of gear it comes back with Sturdy as the trait. I thought I read previously someplace that these "worthless"IMO traits were being removed from the game.

    From a crafters perspective, I've made thousands of pieces of gear and sold maybe 10 items on it with sturdy that WAS NOT a research item. This trait isn't used by the majority of the player base.

    @ZOS_RichLambert , would it be possible for this trait to be removed from all rewards and dungeon drops? My wife got a "Rewards for the Worthy" email over the weekend with the Almalexia light chest piece with Sturdy.... this is a decon item as no one wants this trait.

    A melee person may use this to help reduce their repair costs but from a magicka perspective, NO magicka user would EVER sacrifice Infused/Divines for Sturdy.

    Now if you added nirnhoned to the mix of drops that could be interesting.

    They have increased the rate on nirnhoned drops at least on the surveys.

    - x150 trophies for the pve vaults? Only drops off bosses? While pvp'ers farm trophies and open vaults in hours.
    - Traits? After I finally grind the insane x150....random chance? I can deal with random on the set, but on the trait? This is v16 right? Where optimization is the only goal. A goal in which you do not cater too at all.
    - Token and random drops combined? Come on! Embrace the token system or don't. This in-between mess is exactly that....a mess.

    Casuals don't have a chance in hell to optimize in any way. Only hard core players will have the new sets before Orsinium drops. I know players that have done the new dungeons 80+ times and only have 3-4 pieces of the new sets, and not similar sets either. That is ridiculous.

    2pc head shoulder sets: Shoulders....ok, so the trait is a bit random and well-fitted is still in the mix, but it is something I try and turn in 'daily'. But the head! Random traits IF you get the drop? I have been playing since beta/launch. I am a casual/hardcore gamer, meaning I have my moments of long game sessions as well as moderated times through out the week. I have done Darkshade Cavarn well over x200 since the 2set pc release. I STILL do not have the engine guardian set. I have x8 of the shoulders though. BUT NO HELM!!!
    Put that through your head @ZOS_RichLambert !!!! x200 in the dungeon for A YEAR!!! ALMOST!!!! and I can't have your loot. Thank you ZoS for your reward of grinding indefinitely......Thank you.
    I will only grind till I find a new MMO of interest....mind you. A loot system that makes sense is highly needed.

    The 60 trophy vaults only drop the jewellery sets. The 150 trophy vaults inside the dungeons drop the 12 new armor sets.

    I have logged approximately 40 hours in IC. I have yet to collect 60 trophies of any one type. Since I play several chars and have interest in all three sets, trading them is no option for me.

    So here's a question to you guys. And this is the kind of logical answer that, if circulated, would have a genuine effect on the playing community.....

    To those that do grind the new Vet content dungeons, is it REALLY REALLY worth it? Do the sets give you enough of an increase over v15/v16 crafted/mixed drop v14 builds out there from pre-IC?

    Because if the general population know that it's not worth it, and that's coming from the hardcore min/maxers who run these things with strategic planning, then everyone can just genuinely save their time and spend it elsewhere :)

    Thanks for the thread Nifty. The droprates are really atrocious and leave no fun. I feel like my chances are higher to win the jackpot in a lottery then ever completing a full set of scathing mage with decent traits before the next major update comes out.

    Melee and ranged invoke same repair cost. Your armor simply takes a little bit of damage any time you kill a mob. Does not matter if you killed it melee or ranged, killed it in 1 second or took a minute to kill it, etc.

    In other words, Sturdy is worthless for all players. ;-)

    Long time pvpr new pver. Rich the drop rates for gear in dungeons are ridiculous. It will be months before the most hardcore gets a set of "useful" gear at the current rates.

    One more thing. Could you please check to see if Morag Tong and Shadow walker are dropping from rewards of the worthy? No one has seen either to my knowledge.

    That's what they want because when you finally do get your set, Orsinium will come out and render them obsolete.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    The dropped sets need a buff on the drop rate. The difference between past dungeons and ic dungeons is massive. My guildy has run normal ICP(normal) 84 times and has only gotten 2 sets pieces(total of 8) that he needed. I understand that rng is a part of any mmo but this is crazy. Part of the problem is that even if you get a drop its a 1 in 6 chance that youll get the one you want. Would be nice to see the drop rate to be buffed to a reasonable amount.
    tl;dr
    - light armor gear is almost always dropping wellfitted (why is this trait even on a end game pve piece)
    - Drop rate on bosses and trash is way to low needs a substantial buff. (mabye 25% chance to drop 1 out x sets) on bosses seems like a good number. players would still run it to get the right trait)

    Still looking for a reply to see if this is a bug or intended.
    edit Deadric shackles/embers comes from vet bosses and is a guaranteed drop for a set piece. Get 2 from the first boss in icp not sure about the other bosses though. Grind still crazy. Also you are unable to trade the tokens
    edit 2. So if you beat the first boss in 3 minutes and you take 1-2 minute to get to the first boss it will take you around 6hrs-6hrs:20m to get 150 shackles. Soooooo it would take you 30 hours of grinding and Godtier level rng to get the set you want. .
    Solution: See previous points above about drop rates on bosses and bump the token drop to have a range from 5-20(ish)

    This weekend, our whole group was just kicked off the server while fighting the last boss of Whitegold Tower Vet.
    All four of us at the exact same moment.
    Did another run later that day, same thing again.
    Once peaktime was over, we tried again... and finally got to complete a run that day.
    Makes it even harder to farm the gear / helmet.
    Costumer Support was of course as helpful as ever :neutral:

    Since IC release we ran the 2 new vet dungeons a lot. Even opened our first trophy vault.
    I only got 1 Overwhelming set piece, 0 Molag Kena Helmets and 0 Scathing Mage pieces so far.
    Even farming Aether wasnt this bad!!!

    Hmm.

    While you're at it, please remove all the garbage traits from the loot table (sturdy, training, well-fitted). Nothing worse than getting an Engine/Skoria helm and seeing "STURDY" on the trait. Picked up a Mace of Willpower last night from vetDC and lo and behold, worst trait in the game (training).

    WHY YES, I would love to train my level 50 Dual Wield skill with an endgame item. Not even Undaunted sets had that trait on them.

    Having random sets with random traits is one thing, not getting ANY set drops all the time is something different entirely. And dnother nice fact is that crafted gear is a hundred times easier to get since the amount of materials for one piece aren't all that much compared to doing 50 dungeon runs for a chance to get the right armor with the right trait. Of course they aren't really interesting for many (pve) magicka builds so that road is a dead end for us, even tho we find enough materials from doing these dungeons for a few days to craft all seven pieces twice, maybe even three times.
    Will I be able to forget all the wounds that pierce my flesh?
