I'm somewhere in between casual / hardcore player & my group is clearing WGT on average once a night. I am big on loot being hard to obtain as I like for players who put a lot of time in to have the advantage of being better geared. All that being said these drops rates are brutal. Clearing a dungeon like that should yield at least ONE set piece maybe not the one i need but one of something to justify the time it takes most groups to complete. This content is not easy and deserves some reward for completing. Many of the players with far more experience and champion points have stopped running the dungeon because the time sink is just too brutal for the payout. I/We implore you to make some adjustments.

Well I went through hell getting the pieces i need and they fix the drop rate after all the players who are able to farm and clear them get all their gear.FireCowCommando wrote: »I'm somewhere in between casual / hardcore player & my group is clearing WGT on average once a night. They are making these adjustments, i'm not sure what the individual pieces drop rate is, or if its 10% combined, but i know they are changing that 10% to 30%.
Little disappointed that this drop rate change has already been agreed as needed, but will not be implemented until the next DLC, Orsinium, is live.
It would be a perfect idea if ESO was a single player game. But since it's an MMO, for the sake of "balance" this would only create a gear-gap between the so-called hardcore-players and casuals that are either not able to get a group with LFG finder/yelling or because they don't have enough CPs or because they have "no time to improve" or whatever excuse they can imagine. The only group that would actually receive the boost with this system is the group that is already good at the game and it's obviously the hardcore-players league. My suggestion would not be to simply increase the drop rate on all bosses (maybe increase it a bit so you get like 1 set item per run), but to reward players for doing the hardmodes and challenges for the achievements. If WGT wasn't daily no one would do the hardmode. Why don't you give a guaranteed set item drop if you finish the dungeon doing the hardmode, or maybe 50% chance for hardmode and 50% for speedrun (so 100% if you do both), or any combination of the existing achievements (including no death runs, no spawns from the portals at the flame Atro boss, ...). The hardmodes should at least give more tokens for the trophy vaults. I could not believe it when I saw that hardmode also gave 12 tokens for the Molag Kena kill (I would expect like 50% more).

If you are playing every day, you are NOT casual.
I'm curious about the drop rates folks are getting for the "bits" (shards, ect) in IC?
I've not headed to the vaults (seems pointless when my highest level character is vet 4) and so far I have about 106 planar scraps, about 40-some bone shards and marks of the legion, about a dozen bloody claws and about 6 dark ethers. That's it. Oh and I was up to 14 malachite shards, but just traded 10 of them so someone could make me a glass staff (looked cool and I was a sucker to try it).

The rate for Monstrous Teeth seems to be terrible. I get mostly husks if I am able to even loot at all.
I if I may say so, the old player in ESO.If my memory serves me..Niffty -Nightfighter is to the Guild. You know, I'm not very good with this Guild( although there are a lot of good players)...that's apparently good people there. And the Guild leader (we will not write nick) with obvious signs of Nazism. So no respect for this Guild and their achievements. Just note - THIS is a PERSONAL OPINION!Personofsecrets wrote: »The difficulty is fine you adapt after a few runs, but the drop rate. Does normal mode give v15 only?
Well, fortunately I don't really need any of the new sets.
Some friends were trying to get me to do normal mode runs, because we don't have the skill to beat vet, and I really can't be bothered to get items that I don't need, at a lower than optimal level, and that will more than likely be a terrible trait.
Maybe once vet mode gets nerfd and if there are some itemization changes, then the sets will be worth farming.
Well, that is easy for the number 1 VDSA player to say.

You know scathing only drops in ICP right? Sounds like you're running both for it.
