Don't see the PvP players who are forced to PvE for certain items crying as much as these PvE babies..They need to deal with it.

PVE babies, eh? Need to just deal with it, eh? Crying eh? Just remember, kiddo. You wouldn't be even allowed to PVP, without having to do SOME form of PVE. M'kay? Many of you PVP'ers tend to forget, you aren't even allowed into Cyrodil without reaching Level 10 in PVE first. Your monster helms? PVE content. Your monster shoulders? PVE content. The majority of the lore books and skyshards? In PVE areas. Completion of achievements, the main quest, etc. Guess what... It's PVE content. So please, do keep your "L2P, gitgud, MLGPro" comments and negativity to yourself. And yes, this comes from a guy who does both PVE and PVP. But honestly? People like you? Are the reason why people dislike PVP, want nothing to do with PVP, and or want it removed. Oh, and if it makes you feel any better? It's because of PVP, that a lot of things in PVE get nerfed (cough blocking and dodge roll cough).

Ummm.. NO. Its not because of PVP. Blocking got nerfed because of PVE.

Since you didnt read the comments above, this repeat commercial is for you:

Lets get this right. The Stamina nerf was NOT caused by PVP players. it was caused by thePVEers.

    https://youtu.be/KmdWFdS_Hg8

    After time code 34:15
Q from Twitch: (Part 1) Top tanks currently reported that PVE tanking is hard. How do you expect the casual average tank to handle the stamina regeneration change?
(Part 2) Should they all roll an Imperial Redguard Nightblade tank to handle the change?

    ....
Its definitely going to take people a little bit of time, to get used to the tanking, because its not "Oh, I hold right-click the whole time and I'm tanking and every now and then I taunt."
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

So you truly believe that it was the PVE'ers fault that blocking and dodge rolling was nerfed? Just because that's what a ZOS staff member said, after there have been numerous threads about how unfair it was for Dragonknights to block during PVP conflicts continuously, as well as Nightblades dodge rolling heavily with little to no consequence? You TRULY believe this? I would absolutely love to see some threads where people spoke negatively of the Dragonknight's ability to spam block in a PVE regards. Let alone how unfair it was with Nightblades with them dodge rolling in PVE. I really would like to see these threads. I want to see where these threads are where people say, "Dang, I really hate how the tank we have right now can block nonstop during this pledge we're doing. Gosh, it's so unfair." Where as I can link numerous threads of people complaining of it in a PVP regard. So please, do show me said source besides a ZOS developer claiming it was because of the PVE'ers.

Oh brother, you actually believe the stuff you just posted? The quotes you posted were complaints that ZOS received based on the changes that were made or being planned. They had NOTHING to do with the reasons those changes were implemented. I understand that ZOS wanted to end perma blocking/dodge rolling, but they didn't need to nerf every stamina build in the process.

Simple. Then, find me a post from a ZoS employee saying it was PVPers fault. All I see is players saying that other players caused this. That is the only official quote on the subject I can find.

And, before you quote permablocking.. they were trying to block out permablocking in DUNGEON fights. If you want, I can dig up posts on that. too.

Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Lol. I still want to see a thread where people complain about how good of a job a group's tank is doing by "excessive blocking" whilst regenerating stamina. Or perhaps of a group's Nightblade DPS who's excessively dodge rolling potential fatal attacks from a mob, whilst supplying DPS. I really would like to see these 2 complaint threads made from a PVE point-of-view. :D

For those of you who have ever played WoW and have done the holiday pvp achievements will understand this. If you had never done any pvp then it was a nightmare because you basically just feed the other team and spend most of your time dead. If you did pvp then you realize how boring it was to kill another player who has no idea what to do to fight back that you feel you may as well just be hitting a practice dummy because they don't fight back and die in 3 hits because they don't know how to defend themselves against another player.

I have a feeling that this is how the IC is going to play out most of the time.

Wow. Lots of agrees on this comment.

You may be on to something the whole community agrees with.

Actually, I heard that all the PVE complaints came from the Undaunted Mobs and Bosses that were sick and tired of the PVE'rs that were beating them down with blocking and still not depleting their stam resources. They threathened ZOS with a Molog Bal takeover unless something was done . Who else had anything to gain from this inane change to stam regen in PVE??

I personally love the fact that a little PvP-PvE mix has been implemented, especially with a loot aspect. It is the most thrilling experience I have had in the game.

Lmao. So true, brother. So true. The reason why we can't seem to find those PVE-based complaining threads about stamina regeneration whilst blocking, as well as dodge rolling done by Nightblades, is because they were coming from the monsters and being PM'd to the ZOS staff. :D

I also heard that some of the Craglorn-based monsters have been getting pretty ticked off too, and is the source behind the elusive PVE complaint threads of champion points. Those pesky wasps are absolutely sick of being face-rolled now. Champion points are a clear issue of PVE balance, and need to be adjusted as such for the A.I.'s sake.

Yeah but steam regent while blocking was vital to pve and at worst an annoyance in PvP.

    Please can I haz stamina?

Aww, you can get looted when you die in PvP? I LOVE pvp, but I'm also rarely good at it lol. I don't mind dying. I will not really like losing my stuff when I do. Too big a chance for that!

Don't need to worry about that OP, ESO can't even do 'seasonal events' anyway :)

But seriously, I hear you. I hate being 'forced' to do any form of content in these games I don't want to do and as a console gamer, having the 'first' DLC for console being a PvP one was stupid on a level I can't even fully express.

But since the LFG tool in ESO is completely worthless anyway and console has no text chat, I can't really 'do' PvE in ESO either with any regularity.

FYI, no point comparing ESO to WoW in any context. WoW absolutely destroys ESO on so many levels concerning content, design, social interaction and quality of life functionality it's not really a comparison at all.

Plus, you're just going to get shouted down by fanboys anyway.

I have solved the IC problem for myself at least, I don't plan to buy it. I'm voting with my wallet.

Cmon. You are going to see all of the awesome gear on players walking out of the capitol and you are going to throw wads of cash at zos, lol.

I know I am going to get it once it stabilizes on console. But I'm not shortsighted enough to say I would never purchase the content.

Ok, pvp advice. Since i die by the plenty, and i have a nightblade, what are a few MUST HAVES to be slotted on your bar at all times to even remotely stand a chance? I am a PvEer but i want to see the story, i want to see content.. though, im only a vet 10. Any advice to help me get started would be great.

    Thanks

Maybe its high time ESO utilized some of those little tiny islands on the map, and turned some of them into PvP areas for capture the flag and that sort of thing. This way, the PvPers are far far away on their little island, and we as PvEers never have to go there, ever if we so wish to stay out of PvP content. Sadly, for IC however, there are quests/storylines we PvEers love doing, crafting mats to obtain, and still need the stones to allow for gear and/or crafting material purchases. Throwing us into the same mix isn't the best of ideas. But in saying that. I personally think doing battlegrounds on a smaller scale as future PvP content could be a great thing. Because i am a PvEer does not mean i don't occasionally feel like letting my hair down and jump into some quick PvP, like a Battleground sort of situation where the match is over within 20 - 30 minutes. And this way, it gives PvPers more content at the same time, with new scenery to do their PvP in, and there is no reason to add any story content to those areas, so us PvEers won't feel like we are missing out on anything.

I dunno. I think it could work. This game has great potential for both PvP and PvE players. They have so much landmass to work with. I for one really would love this game to succeed. I really do.

I'm waiting to see what the next DLC for PvE players offers first.

Still not convinced this game is worth the long term investment yet.

Certainly looks pretty and runs nice, but I'm at a point already in the VR grind where if you're not a PvP player like me, the game is boring as hell.

Even their main free-to-play rival on Xbox has SOMETHING going on around the clock

In ESO I log in and do my daily writs, set my horse upgrade, check my auctions and basically log off.

I'd do the undaunted pledges, but I'm sick of trying to battle the broken LFG system in this game.

Other than that, all there is to do is go farm perfect Roe I guess?

Are you on ps4 na server? Ebon heart pact? Join azalins pve guild. At least you'd have some people to run with.

Send him a friend request or whatever. Or friend me and you can join my guys, were more casual but you'd have someone to bs with while you harvest.
