Isn't it refreshing that a game finally moves away from the carebear easymode style of play and introduces a gameplay mechanic that makes death actually matter more than a 20 second horse ride (at most)?
Just don't even go there if you can't handle that little bit of risk..
Having to pve to pvp is no cakewalk either.
WoW, are you saying WoW is a fail? You Carebears has been the problem always, what devs seems to listen like their own kids, you are 1%. I cant understand why people cant do both.

I am a NB and was in stealth each time and yet people seem to spot me a mile off. Is the stealth feature broken or what? I thought that once you are sneaking, it is near impossible to be seen, save for mage light. Those players, what i could see did not have that on. Is there something i am doing wrong? I can't even seem to complete one quest, due to ganking fests. Where is the PvE part of IC? Or is there no such thing for this DLC?

As opposed to us PvEers being forced to PvP to do anything. Even to get to IC. I can't PvP for health reasons -- it is very high-stress (even when I'm just sneaking in the wilderness of Cyro) and my doctor has recommended I avoid that kind of stress if I can. That isn't most people's problem, I know, but it is mine.
This is going to get me called a carebear, I know it. Keep in mind that those who call others carebears for the crime of not wanting to PvP are revealing more about themselves than others.
So I ask you. What is so bad about PvE? I'm genuinely curious.

PvE is boring and repetitive. Nothing changes, it's all able learning the mechanics of a boss and then running the same DPS build as every other person of your class wears. PvE is all about grinding. If you want X reward you've gotta complete X over and over until you get it. People compete weekly to get reward that are practically based on how quickly they can do content they've already done 10+ times.
PvP is ever changing, the map over Cyrodiil has barely changed in pretty much a year, yet there are always players running new builds, people playing a certain build differently than another, people having a different 5 skills on each bar. Even when taking the boring copy/pasted keeps, defenders always have a different set up of siege, they always stack and bomb from different spots. You don't create your build based on how much damage it does, you make it to to be competitive in an environment where at any time you could get ganked.
I understand that people who PvE require content more often than PvP-ers but that doesn't mean they should ignore us completely. Before the Imperial city the only new content we actually got within months was some reskined siege equipment and two new alliance skills.

LOL, what? PvP players got new "content" every frickin' patch since launch... the devs have rebuilt the game's classes, skills and combat systems over and over for you guys! Your "content" came in the form of all the NERFS you begged for endlessly.

"PvE is boring and repetitive."
To a bad PvP player like me, NOTHING is more boring and repetitive than ESO's PvP:
1) Ride horse 5 minutes looking for battle.
2) Spot and enemy.... and attack!
3) 20 more enemies appear out of nowhere...
4) Die.
5) Go back to Step 1.
This cycle has been the same since ESO launched, and I don't expect it to change because ZOS loves zergs.

ZoS did a smashing good job.... at trying to bait players who are not IC's target audience into providing funding for the DLC. They put the new crafting resources particularly the water for the most part in IC to try to lure players into a PVP zone. I'm frustrated with that aspect but I refuse to give ZoS a dime.
Vote with your wallets, don't buy IC.
Hopefully they make it up with Orsinium/Wrothgar but if they pull a stunt like make that DLC higher VR cap to try and sucker players into buying IC no matter what.. it'll be a good time to quit the game and uninstall.

I don't know if you've noticed, but the forum is full of threads today posted by PvE players that are pissed that blocking got nerfed. Why did blocking get nerfed? Because PvPers whined and whined about "perma-blockers", and ZOS kissed their butts like they always do.
That's just ONE example out of hundreds of nerfs that have been served up on a silver platter for PvP clowns since launch. Enjoy your new content:

and because zos felt like tanking was too easy even for end game dungeons, but we'll just ignore that right to make your arguement sound valid.
