If you are traveling from keep to keep, there is nothing you can do as you can't spam AOE's on a horse or is there any detect ability that a nightblade can't stay out of range, so until they balance how OP Cloak is, run as a group, defend and don't go into open areas as there is not a lot a single person can do against a good gank squad. The only class that can run solo is NB as if they are ganked and skilled enough that NB can just simply hit their I-win button and Cloak away. NB aren't OP because they can attack from cloak, but they are OP because they can escape any fight at anytime and go places all other classes cannot, if they have half a brain. Non NB must change their play style to that classes strength or roll NB.

Talons for a DK.... added bonus of holding them in place so you can attack them.
Velocious Curse for a sorc ... and it has the added bonus of not triggering (or costing) if there is no one there.
If you get high enough in alliance, Caltrops (of course).

Wait a minute... are you saying randomly hitting Velocious Curse will land on any stealthed enemy NB who is in range, presumably in the direction your camera is facing?
Maybe I misunderstand...

You can't cloak curse away, so cast it everytime you see him.. It's annoying as f* as NB since the dmg will break it.

That is what it seems to be doing for me in Cyrodiil. I'm not sure if it's only hidden and not stealthed, but sometimes it triggers and someone is there, and sometimes I hit the key on my bar and no one is there and nothing happens.
Conversely any use of Talons does trigger and cost magicka, even if no one is there.
When I attack with a channel attack (i.e. lightning destro staff, normal resto staff attack) some pvp enemies are able to sneak away during the channel cast.
A NB is using cloak I think, but how can DK, Sorc, Templar sneak away, I am sure I have seen too doing so?
