i don't see anymore playable races being added seeing how all the ones from past TES games are here already. I could see new maps and such, no lvl increase maybe some new armors and crafts though.
You seriously know this much lore about a video game? I've played all the Elder Scrolls games and I know I run around with a sword or whatever and kill stuff... I dunno how people get this in to a game. They can expand... Look at what FFXIV just released... and why does everyone compare MMORPG's to WoW? It didn't start the genre. I wish games like this didn't have so much lore, because it would be easier to add stuff in, because people like me wouldn't even know the difference, they'd just enjoy the game for what it is. Not get caught up in some make believe World, and say stuff can't be in a made up World. because in that made up world, this made up thing didn't exist then... I've ran in to that on this board when discussing a few things, and it's quite annoying.

This isn't "Creating" a race (I think Nirn has plenty to choose from!) but I really like the idea of a playable SloadThe Coral Kingdom: This could be a single release DLC expansion giving players the partially sunken nation of Thras between Tamriel and Yokuda, and a new playable race, the Sload and could introduce underwater content to ESO, if it's not already in ESO by this point. Since the Sload detest adventure the playable Sloads would have to be considered Sload outcasts and the story would have to reflect that.
Players playing Sloads would have to embrace that they are shunned from their society.
Considering that Sloads are very studious, are powerful magicians and, well... slugs. I think the following Racial skillset would be appropriate.
Their Racial Skills would be something like:
- Quick Study: 10% Decrease to all crafting research and Riding Skill cool-downs
- Stalwart Resolve: Increase poison resistance by 5%/10%/15%
- Magicka Adept: Increase Max Magica by 2%/4%/6%
- Intuitive Reflexes: Increase Critical Chance by 6%/8%/10%

Imga should have already appeared, so if not for fleeting and meaningless references, they'd be as good as retconned.
Lilmothiit are extinct. If some still remain, not enough to suddenly appear all over Tamriel.
Maormer, Dremora, goblins and the Akaviri all are viable, but they don't fit at all into the existing story, so unless the Akaviri have their own starting zones in Akavir, I don't see it happening. Maormer would perhaps be the easiest to accommodate. Personally I don't think we'll ever see new playable races.

You don't think people will get bored of just grinding CPs?
Hidden pockets. Unexplored communities. Keyword: hidden. You can't have thousands of them walking freely all over Tamriel. The remaining Falmer are even rarer than Ayleids. I'd be fine with Kothringi who can pass for strangely colored humans, maybe even Lilmothiit, depending on how it's resolved, but I'd really prefer to avoid it altogether.Jared_lindsey86_ESO wrote: »Falmer are devolved goblin-like creatures in the Second Era.Jared_lindsey86_ESO wrote: »Potential playable races:

Not all snow elves accepted the dwarves offer of asylum. Some like Gelebor survived in pocket communities up until the fourth era at least. Many more could still be extant in the second. Lilmothiit are speculated to be extinct but since inner Black Marsh has never been explored by non-aboriginal habitants they could still be there. Even at the Septim empire's height it was unknown whether or not Black Marsh accepted Imperial rule.
I'll reiterate though any such additions are years away and probably unplanned at present.
